  • These are all amazing.

  • ca someone tell me where i can get this for windows 7

  • Commissar Holt is a bad ass I wish i could get my hands on his uniform

  • is it me o these videos look like those in comander en conqueror

  • Final Liberation should remade by Electronic Arts, the guys who make the Command and Conquer series, with a nice budget. If that happens, Final Liberation could be a damn awesome game.

  • @1StoryImageFigure1 Fail. No. Silence your Blasphemy.

Final Liberation is an art form that should not be "remade". No, It should be re-born, re-newed. Leave all the original cutscenes and simply gear up the game with current technology. Update it for current hardware, but don't do anything else or you'll fuck the whole thing up.

  • @1StoryImageFigure1 NOT EA. They did an ok job with C&C3 and Red Alert 3 and Generals, but they totally fucked up C&C4

  • god i love commisar holt

  • Final Liberation it is, an old 40k strategy game

  • What game is this ? or movie ? it looks really old

  • saw jes goodwins sketch from the late 80's of a full sized marine pinned up on the wall at the golden demon awards 2004 even took a photo of my friend stood next to it, with armour they are going on for 8ft and 3 times the width of an average person.

  • According to GamesWorkshop (if i don't remember this wrong) A Space Marine is in average 250cm tall.

  • @Dewnis Eight feet, eh?

  • A marine in powered amour is 3 meters tall

  • Weird...I never saw this cutscene once, I always got a different one when I won the game. Judging from what Commissar Holt says about Skroll not being dead, this must be the cutscene you get if the Warboss unit survives the final battle at the space hulk. I always killed it because it sat in an easily destroyable building like an idiot. :D

  • thats the reason why they wear power armour , that way bolt guns wont rip their arms off or fly out of their hands. a normal space marine is 6- 7ft the armour makes him taller and the higher of a promotion the more armour. that way the emperour protects the loyalist of subjects.

  • A neophyte(marine in training) is 6-7 feet, not a normal Marine. A normal marine is around 7'6'' without his armor.

  • no a space marine with its armour is around 71/2 feet tall

  • Wrong. He is around 8 feet with armor.

  • no i measured it, its about 7 and a half feet tall

  • What did you measure?

  • a space marine with a bolter i measured it in inches cm and mm.

  • OK..what Space Marine? From a picture or something?

  • no my own figure of a spacemarine with a bolter gun

  • if you round it up to the closest foot it round up to 8 foot put its closest to 7 1/2 feet tall

  • @billyboyjennings MA PENIS!

  • The average Space Marine is 8 feet tall.

  • The average Space Marine is 7 feet tall. Common mistake.

  • Nah, taller than that . between the 2.20 and 2.70 meters

  • After 8 years of playing Warhammer 40 000 the actual table top game, with Space Marines for just as long, I'm pretty confident in my knowledge. 2.20 metres is 7 feet, 3 inches, so that's pretty much what I said. 2.70 metres is 9 feet, and yes, SOME are that tall, but that's an exception amongst most codex chapters, however common amongst the fabled Grey Knights. There is a lot of information to process about 40K, so it's not surprising that things get confused or misunderstood.

  • Cursed13 is right, it's 7 foot, a Chaplain is 8... though I have no idea why he suddenly grows upon promotion :P

  • Does anyone know if Final Liberation can be played on a computer with Windows XP?

  • I think so - just Vista that can't

  • I couldn't run it on my XP :<

  • wooooow that must have been an old PC.

  • you can run it on xp, but you have to go in and disable the in game movies. something about the codex that they use caused the game to crash in xp.

  • just use dos box

  • @Trueflights coincidentally, it runs perfectly on vista and windows 7 with videos :)

  • @ImperatorDerGalaxis

It would be real hard. Most HMV games were made to run on Windows 3.1 and DOS.

    Guess which part is easy?

  • @ImperatorDerGalaxis It can be played on a windows 7 on 98 compatibility.

  • @TheRealRealFlippy It can. I have run the game without problems on WIndows 7 Pro (64 bit).

  • @Leurdeil 64 bit? How?

  • @ImperatorDerGalaxis The game runs perfectly fine on Windows XP, but you have to disable the cutscenes first.

  • @ImperatorDerGalaxis

The game itself runs fine on XP, but the videos crash. The catch-22 is that you have to run the game in order to disable the cut scenes, and you can't run the game until the cut scenes are disabled. Your only solution, as far as I know, is to find an existing config file with the cut scenes disabled, for download somewhere. And the relic archives are no longer online.

  • well bolters were about .997 caliber if im not mistaken

the stats are on DOWII on the standarad Godwyn Pattern Bolters

  • .75 calibre explosive rounds, actually. Maybe that .997 thing is the pattern or Mk.

  • Depends on the user. Bolt guns intended for the Space Marines are .997 caliber; bolt guns intended for normal human hands tend to be the .75 caliber variety. If a normal human wanted to use the space marine variety of bolt guns, chances are good that said bolt gun would have be mounted on a pintle mount O_o

  • or he would rip his arm of by shooting it:P

  • you can find the game at like abandonware or something like that its how i got mine its free lol

i want to play fire warrior

  • i got fire warrior recently for ps2 and its good gaming and graphics the story is also quite good.

  • when was this game released? it looks pretty cool.

  • Its very old, you could even say it archaic.

  • aw.

  • I need to find it on ebay maybe.

  • Its like 22 bucks for it. I think it would be worth it.

  • Are popped collars standard Commissariat dress code?

  • There tend to be variations of the uniforms as far as I know, if you look at the miniatures, either that or most Commissars aren't big enough Emperor Botherers to decide to not alter the uniform to their own tastes a bit.

  • woo thats a should be a las chaonnon not las gun lol

  • 0:01 holy shit tht lasgun looks waaaaaaaay too big

  • Methinks it could be a long las, maybe.

  • yer it does have what looks like a sniper scope

  • you have to remember, this is a rather old game, back in the dark age of technology from what I've heard, so they probably didn't have the better weapons.

  • Bolters' are as big as 2 cash registers side by side. And yes I know im replying to a 6 month old comment.

  • lol, there bigger than that, space marines are 10 ft tall remember and bolters are 75 calibre.

  • Space Marines at most are 8.5 FT tall, ive read almost all the codexes and those freaking manuals. And the horus heresy books...

  • They're actually meant to be 7 feet. The problem is, there's a picture circulating out there that had one drawn to scale - but the scale started at 1 foot instead of 0, so it says he's 8 feet tall.

The guy that did it obviously failed math.

  • most grow bigger than 7 feet though

  • wow i want to see some ganmeplay vids of final liberation
