I worked with frank back in the day, truly a fearless man onstage. This is a character, in person, off stage, a kind and thoughtful person, very talented mimic as well
I can not see how some of the comments match with the so called comedy that is on show and I would not put this bloke as on par or anywhere near the true legend of comedy that was Bill hicks.
@mugwuffin22 hahaha dude yes. this whole time ive been thinking, "ya...i think ill go listen to rant in e minor" this guy sucks, bill hicks' material completely fucks this dudes dick jokes in the ass. this guy is so terrible.
Used to tour with him - best comic ever (after Bill Hicks, of course). If you see this, Scoop, thanks for being my mentor and friend. Love ya!!! Sodey Boy, aka NiK NormaL
I am happy people seem to enjoy Frank Lunneys' humor- He was truly a gifted performer with many talents of impersonation & stand up. This was his character called Captain Rowdy- A true comedy legend- I am happy to include in my library of great comedy performances and personal friend- I hope he is well?
Tell your friends you watched it on joelsamuelpresents
Captain Rowdy - used to be married to him, still good friends - brought back many memories of good times - He is such a great comedian - wish he was touring still - would love to see him again
Whatever happened to Frank? If he's the same guy I'm thinking of, we were friends in high school. I adored Frank and have been wondering about him for years! Frank, if you're out there, it's Geri, Dario's pal. The surname is a stage name. I'm in entertainment now too. Ali! Ali! Ali!
One of the truly great stand up comedians who had so many different characters and impressions and was headlining clubs through the 1980's last seen in Dallas Texas he was a really different person onstage than off. Welcome Captain Rowdy- AKA Frank Lunney
