For all you guys who want to be a pilot in the USAF make sure you are in good health, perfect vision. Need a Bachelors degree and if you have your personal pilots license thats a big plus. Also flight school, the best get to be fighter pilots. Everyone else gets the heavies. I was an aircraft mechanic on KC-10s, C-17 and KC-135s and prefer heavys to fighters all day.

@danerfmasterr101 nice going, mate. I'm not sure about USA, but in Brazil the selection is pretty hard. The exame is hard as hell, and just 215 of an 110000 manage to go. After the exame, the health requirements is harder, yet. Vision 20/20, spine without problems, heart, and etecetera all in perfect condition. So, give your best studying and pay a visit to a doctor, make sure you are OK and make your people proud of you :).
It would be a great tribute to the US Air Force if you took out the US Navy stuff. Don't get me wrong, the US Navy is great, but if you're doing a tribute to something, you should just do a tribute to that one thing.

I like this video, but the description is incorrect at some points... There are planes and choppers that belong to the US Navy, US Marines, US Army, and at one point even to the French, with those Mirage aircraft... It's still a nice video though, but the "USAF Above all" and title + description are horribly wrong... You might want to adjust that. Maybe something like "NATO Air Corps" might fit it better?

The Air Force did at one time have an exchange program with the navy and flew Phantoms off carriers during the Vietnam war and may again now that the F35 is in service at Eglin AFB. But no they don't fly the F18, nor do they fly French Mirage jets over Chad as seen in the low flyby. Otherwise great video.
I went to a basic training simulator for the airforce and i broke in the first day i got there. These men and women are true heroes and have true strength. God bless

@xXxDeitiesxXx Well with the Air Force trimming down its personnel, standards are much higher to get in. But just make sure your asvab scores are high. If your worried about Boot Camp dont be, all you need is physical endurance and to be able to listen well. Besides that, the Air Force is great profession and a great experience.

Great video except for two things. One-No tankers. No KC-135's or KC-10's. Heck not even an AWACS, C-17, C-5 or RC-135. The unsung heroes and backbone of the Air Force. TRwo-How does an F/A-18 Navy bird get into an Air Force video? I understand the F-111Aardvark, even though it is retired.
Anyway, just pet peeves. Go Air Force

@wtfareuserious I agree, but the people that make these videos are usually family of people in the air force not actually people in the air force. So they just assume all air craft are in the air force and throw all this crap together as a tribute to their family member because they miss them over seas or something. Lol.

@xXxDeitiesxXx Well with the Air Force trimming down its personnel, standards are much higher to get in. But just make sure your asvab scores are high. If your worried about Boot Camp dont be, all you need is physical endurance and to be able to listen well. Besides that, the Air Force is great profession and a great experience.
