I loved getting my nails done when I lived in Japan. Even basic acryllics are way more expensive over there than in the US, but the attention to detail is worth it!

The day before I left Japan, I splurged and had kimono nails done, similar to some of the flower designs above, but my nails were little spring kimonos. Totemo takai demo kawaii desu!

Long nails don't get along with me. If they are mine they break off within 24hrs of me noticing their longness. If they are fake it feels like everything i do will cause them to come off, they annoy me and thus I end up taking them off, plus i wear contacts. Its hard getting the contacts out without scratching my eyeballs raw with nails long like those. No thanks.
