  • You lose manifold pressure as the airplane climbs because these engines are not turbocharged. You lose about 1" MP per thousand feet. It'll get up to 20,000 feet, but the last 5,000 will take a long time unless it's lightly loaded.

  • Thx but I have the throtle open all the way with no luck. thx for responding. I'll just stay low I guess.

  • umm, yea i did lose manifold pressure when i got to 15'000 feet, but when the throtle is up the pressure goes up :\ hope that helps :)

  • no, sorry i don't know why that's happening to your airplane it says that it can fly up to 20,688 ft or 6,306 km but i don't know why you loose pressure at 15,000 feet :\
