You know this all comes down to Public trust, we the people are the beneficiaries of the public trust. the Public Servants are the trustees. If they cause harm, injury or loss to the beneficiary, they fail their fiduciary responsibilities. No one has right to govern another without consent. No one has right to cause others harm, and no one has right to tell others how to live. "The State" is created to protect our rights, but no one can protect us from stupid, stupid is a threat to everyone.
Its not a simple violation and it is a big deal. Morons like this don't understand that there needs to be a system in place to keep unsafe drivers off the road. I'd bet that they'd all be crying why nothing was done if a drunk with a suspended license ran over there kids.
@Joebhoy1888able its not journeying peacefully when they are breaking laws that are designed for keeping the public safe. Sadly, 99% of traffic laws (unlike other criminal codes) are based on collisions that resulted in death and injury. The only traffic violation that can result in a suspension of privilege, that is not related to safety, is failure to have insurance (in 49 states which DO consider that unsafe) or failing to pay the trivial amount for a license every 6 years. You thick bastard
@lionel21000 There are and have always been real laws to deal with harm, injury, death. What is being challenged here is fictional crimes. No man has a right to rule over another. No man has a right to demand anything from another except as compensation for some harm. Fictional statutory laws are created to extract revenue from the people, nothing more. No law can stop a fool from doing harm. No words on paper will stop a killer or a thief. No victim, no crime.
@Snowblindinfinity what is a fictional crime??? thats a nice catch phrase 'no victim no crime' too bad its not true. Drug use not a crime? It is if you have seen drug dealers hooking kids with hard core drugs. Speeding or texting while driving? It sure is, have you ever been to a fatal accident and seen a body? Just because their isn't a nice neat crime with a 'victim' and 'offender' doesn't mean that right and wrong don't exist. These are crimes against all of our safety.
@lionel21000 A victimless fictional crime is simply what it says, there is no victim, no harm, no injury, no damage, no violation of a right or threat to anyone's safety. The examples you have given fail that test. Drug use is not a crime, people use drugs for many reasons, giving harmful drugs to kids causes harm and is a crime. Speeding is not a crime, speeding down the street in a school zone or populated area and threatening the lives of others is. Same with texting and cell phones.

It is not OUR government, it belongs to the Corporations. What people fail to see is that we are all "property" of the Corporations we call government. That is the definition of a citizen, and legal entity. Do you have unalienable rights? Can anyone make rules that would alter those rights or prohibit them?Does the "State" exist or is it a fiction created by men? Ask the right Questions, look beyond the surface, dig deep into the origins of our current "State", it will all become clear.
"Our system of government, based upon the individuality and intelligence of the citizen, the state does not claim to control him, except as his conduct to others, leaving him the sole judge as to all that only affects himself." Mugler v. Kansas 123 U.S. 623, 659-6O.
We are damned for our ignorance, we do not understand the laws, and those who enforce them do not either. It is all commercial. Statutes are for Commercial/Corporate/Legal entities, Living Souls are not Legal entities.
@4:20 Just letting you know, but every time a free keener deliberately provokes the police into having them arrested, the taxes for the city of Keene go up. More arrests = more police control. Just saying, but the "activism theatre" isn't doing much to achieve a truly voluntary society.
Who says he has hurt anyone? He speaks eight languages, is a responsible man of his word, helps his neighbors and strangers alike. I know him personally. He is an inspiration to me. Both he and I can get along without being held at gunpoint to fork over our earnings to an establishment which force and violence are it's only means and produces nothing but theft and coercive, inhuman treatment of others. This man is a hero.
Let's assume the right to travel is guaranteed. Fine. But, what gives a person the right to travel in a vehicle on a public road without being licensed? I see the opponents of freedom treating these issues separately and would love to hear how you folks would answer (in a logical and reasonable way, please).
@watcher8o A Right cannot be legislated, Regulated, Abrogated, and no rules or conditions can be placed on it. Period. What is a motor vehicle? Any vehicle "USED IN COMMERCE". What is a License? A permit to do something which would "otherwise be a crime". Driver is an occupation, Transportation is an industry, Registration, Inspection, License, Insurance, Etc,.. All are commercial. Legalese is not the same as English. Are you a commercial entity? Study and learn, one day it will hit you.
Your right to travel is not going to be infringed UNTIL you set foot on my property without my permission. Therefore, the right to travel is not absolute. Government owned highways could be thought of the same way. You do not have the right, necessarily, to travel on said road without the "owner's" permission, right?
Yes, but this isn't a democracy, so just because you give permission doesn't mean they have permission of the government..blah blah...
It would be easier to answer this question if we lived in true liberty. The roads would be private... that is if we even needed roads. To quote Ernie Hancock: "Where we're going, there aren't any roads."
Look, I need a realistic, practical answer to the naysayers on freedom to travel. This ought to be Anarchy 101 or part of the Anar-catechism. :P
“The claim and exercise of a constitutional right cannot be converted into a crime.” Miller v. US, 230 F 486, 489. "Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which would abrogate them." - Miranda vs. Arizona, 384 US 436, 491
@watcher8o On your property you have the RIGHT to set your own rules. However;
"The right of the citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon, either by a carriage or automobile, is not a mere privilege which a City may prohibit or permit at will, but a common right which he has under the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."
There are so many quotes from the Supreme Court to back this claim. Corporates do not want to us making this claim.
@Joebhoy1888able The meanings of words often change in the legal scenario, this provides cover for the deceptions that are imposed on us. There are many definitions of citizen and to understand it one has to read the context of the case. In this case it is plain that a citizen is a living soul, born on the land in reference because only living souls can have unalienable rights, Life, Liberty, Happiness,..
In many cases Citizen refers to a subject or slave as well, property of "The State".
Marc Stevens claims for there to be a state there needs to be citizens, he claims they can never actually prove that there is no citizen therefore no state.
Yes the stories have inspired me. And I am terribly frustrated at my inability to participate in any form of justified civil disobedience. So for myself I will continue to speak the raw ugly truth to power. "In a time of universal deceit. Telling the truth is a revolutionary act." George Orwell.
I know what the law SHOULD be but I also know how they have the law set up and know the difference between MSOs/MCOs and titles. You don't outright own your own vehicle which is the hook they use to require registration and licenses
was just talking to a big time corporate invetsigator I met at the "Y" while working out. He shared some insight with me on the country's black laws. He has not been a person for some time but is a citizen. He has no drivers license but continues to drive legally. He offered to speak at just about anything I threw at him.
I love that guy! What a great statement on freedom, on basic, general, freedom - the right to travel. Boom. Do we or don't we? If you have to ask/pay for permission: is it a right? I would save this interview. It will resonate (powerfully) with people in various contexts. Nicely captured.
It's real sad to see young children caught up in all of this and incompetent parents using them as pawns in their sick activism.
