This movie was phenomenal!

The Uninvited could have had potential if it had not tried to actually have it's own version of the movie. Overall, remakes, especially American ones, are pretty awful, but even more so when they try to hide that it's a remake which is what made me despise The Uninvited right from the start.

@332synic233 I don't think it's any one exact piece from the movie but a combination of Epilogue and Cold Hands, or can also be described as the main melody throughout of most of the tracks. It starts like Epilogue and then Cold Hands at 1:40-2:23

The Uninvited was surprisingly good, and I didn't hate it at all...the original was just so much more emotionally riveting and mysterious...I don't think there should always be definite answers, and that was what I liked about the original!

I agree with you fd3 that the american remake wasnt terrible at all, but I think A Tale Of Two Sisters is uniquely Asian, and making the focus more about the stepmother ("The Uninvited") rather than the sisters themselves was its downfall really, because you feel more connected with Su-Mi and Su-Yeon

I think a lot of movie makers forget the importance of a good sound track which can make or break a movie sometimes. all the good movies had incredible scores. remember star wars, back to the future, sound of music etc? please, no more substituting pop music..
