I just saw this documentary and I got to say I was actually moved by Monem and his story. It's a warm, funny, poignant story.

It's kind of sad and poignant that the first school, the "better" school that had "new planes, better equipment" (in Monem's words) not only rejected him, but called the FBI on him. That's just cold :(

But I'm glad he learned how to fly :)

Mashalla, this was a great film just got done watching this on klcs. It was very inspiring. A beautiful film of a the life of an american muslim family.
