If Kandee didn't try to help, it would have been someone else. Either way someone was gonna get scammed by that lady, actually I think people should be thankful that it happened, because now this lady won't be able to get away with it because it's all over the place and everyone knows. I doubt it was the first time she scammed someone.

I agree with you 100%. My computer broke, and I just got it back like 2 weeks ago, so I am trying to catch up around all of my networking sites, and this has just been brought to my attention, the whole case, and I find it absolutely disgusting. I don't understand people. What a horrible cry for attention.

And I believe Kandee is innocent, her heart is just too big sometimes (sounds like me LOL)!

I honestly don't think Kandee had anything to do with the scam...I actively read her blogs and sometimes scan the comments left on individual posts. Kristie Tunick left comments to Kandee begging for help, leaving links and such. I clicked the links wondering what it was and instantly felt saddened for Kristie. Kandee has a big heart, and I think that's what attracted them to her--so they can use her for whatever they wanted publicity for... I hope Kandee does make a statement about it though.

@TheLennypops UPDATE I emailed Kandee earlier to let her know that even though she deleted those videos on her channel that there are people who uploaded them on other channels. She said she is going to make a video statement to let everybody know what her side is, and obviously she's heartbroken about it.

@MrRic2828 Kandee isn't part of it. She was scammed just like the rest of us. Don't point fingers at her because like the rest us she was trying to help them by sticking her own neck out for them but unfortunately it blew up in her face. Kandee did her part to bring awareness to her story and so did we.

I wasted time calling stations, tweeting 129 celebrities, posting it on Ellen's page, telling my friends to pass the story one, and actually taking a day off from school to go to MTV's headquarters begging them to bring attention to this story and it turns out to be a sham. Like I said on Facebook where I'm from ppl step on others and don't care who they hurt. I thought of I could make two ppl happy...

@TheLennypops It's just a shame that people go through all that and steal. You don't know where your money is going when you donate. $8000 this woman gave them I mean it's unbelievable. I however don't like how people are targeting Kandee like she was part of it when she like all of us were tricked and it backfired because she has a good heart like many of the people trying to help her and it they took full advantage and knew Kandee would try to help.

Remember I wrote you some nice messages telling you to be careful because it sounded like a scam and you told me I was heartless and some other mean things. I was only trying to help you and keep you from becoming involved in this scam. If you saw Kandee's video it went worldwide. That is a lot of innocent people that sent money. They have received hundreds of thousands of $.

You know right from the start when I watched the 20/20 video, I just felt something was off. I was "scammed" when I first joined youtube not once but twice. Yay, dumb! So i didn't send money but I did pray for her and her family. It makes me so mad, there are so many people in this world that could actually use the help that was given to these people. She might be sick. More in the head thou if anything.

@MeezaZeeXoX95 thanks a lot yeah the carepages are refunding donations theres 3 fb groups set up that uncovered a whole lot of evidence and now nbc are investigating 'the scam' as they are reffeing to it...so sadly to all those still in denial this is a scam which has been running 7 years

Well it's great everyone is posting vids etc, but now theyre deleting everyone from the private group, and people that have followed from the start, before these 2 new groups were ever made are now being booted for no reason. Paranoia has taken over and it's wrecking their credibility.
