Mantids have enchant removal, so that's why most people go for vermin. Vermin are a good farm aswell, easily do-able in HM (dunno if that increases celestial drops) even for general farming builds (VwK, 55/SoJ, etc.).

I've been trying to get a tactics celestial shield for ages. This is one painful farm if you're going for a specific piece AND specific attribute ): (I bet you I'll get a tactics shield with like +10 armor req 12 or something -.-)

you know there a faster way to Farm Celestial Weapons with the Mantid right out of Nahpui Quarter using a standard Perma Sliver build. works great!!

RG993, u fail because Shadow Form wasnt nerfed it was "Buffed" just more frequent casting. requires 1 more skill for it to work properly. its not nerfed for sins. just other primary prof. how bout using an echo skill next time!

lol, telling me I fail... as you can see I'm E/A... so no possibility for an Echo as that's mesmer.

Other than that, i have no idea for how long you've been playing the game, you are indeed correct Shadow Forms duration has changed, The reason why this build is nefed though is because of the damage reduction Shadow Form has now. It first didn't have any damage reduction at all, then it changed to 50% (<the reason why it's nerfed), then it changed to 33% (<which i haven't tried yet)

PvE Changes

Back in May, Shadow Form had its duration increased and emerged as a key part of several highly efficient farming builds. To lower the efficiency of Shadow Form farming without removing it as an option, we are changing both the skill and some creatures in the Underworld.

Assassin * Shadow Form Shadow Form: the caster of this skill now does 50% less damage while it is active.
