The trees and flowers are ALL live. It is very pretty in person. There are several different type of fish and pretty little ducks. The water is clean to a degree( there are fish/ducks) and is not smelly. We took our Grandchildren, and bought the picture as well. It was a wonderful memory for the four of us. We will do it again if we can. It's fun to hear the history of the hotel. Just don't listen if it seems silly. Take the ride if you can. It is relaxing and pretty.
Sorry everybody who loves this stuff, but it all looks plastic and tacky. Are the trees real? On 29 sec looks like the boat is not a boat by a monorail that goes round on a puddle of water. Hope the water was fresh.
The hotel is great but the flatboat ride is lame! It goes around in a circle while some goober tells you fun facts about the hotel, then they try to sell you a picture of your fabulous adventure of riding around in a circle on a flatboat. Skip the boat ride, find a nice bar.

When I was here I loved that boat. Beautiful Hotel. Can't wait to go back. To it and the Grand Ole Opry House.
