    I love it

    My favorite army is HUNS

The latest in music very good

  • Huns is victory heaa heea heey :)

    I love it

    My favorite army is HUNS

  • Lol, you caused 182 times more casualties than you suffered and were still denied heroic victory. XD

  • wery bad management...if ur fathers were like u,its normal to lose wars againist rome..

  • Mehow - This might be a dumb question but since your playing the Huns here it is. Is it a good idea to use missile cav to harass the AI's regular cav so your cav can hammer and anvil the AI's line?

  • I always think horse archers are the best lolz

  • you got stratagy all wrong

  • once you play medieval 2 you can't turn back to rome ...i tryed ...2 times ...but if you play Empires total war that you will surely come back to medieval 2 cause that game just sucks ....

  • @RegiusCruor

I disagree. I played M2TW for a long time and always ended up re-installing Rome again.

As for Empire- I haven't played it but I got Napoleon TW yesterday and my god- it is euphoric! If Empire is anywhere close to it then it IS a good game. Make sure to download all patches (up to 1.6) to eliminate bugs in the game. CTD can put you off =)

  • @Mehow80 u know ? i actually liked rome total war more than medieval ...but i got used to the medieval animations and the way people move in rome makes me crazy ..it's like they are all constipated ... :)) if that would be fixed then i would reinstall rome in a second :)))

  • @Mehow80 i never tryed Napoleon TW ....just empire ...and it;s awfull ...it's kinda catchy at first but after a few houres the fun is gone

  • @Mehow80 i havnt played napoleon but empires total war is really good in my opinion

  • @Mehow80 napoloen sucks and i agree with Regius its hard to go back to Rome after medieval 2

  • @RegiusCruor I played Rome since middle school and I have both Medieval 2 and empire.

  • yea being a horse archer is pretty difficult, theres only one period during a horses gallop that you are stable enough to shoot and thats when the horse is mid air in run, you have to hand it to the huns, taking advantage of romes weak light infantry and calvary are what won them all the battles

  • I have this game but I can not see there horse and make a campaign please write to me why the answer

  • You know I play this as just for fun, and it turned out that the Celtics took over Europe and stuff, and i was like WTF, these guys are not even playable, and then the gallowglass's hit you, and take your elite troops down.

  • They don't have shields- archers will pick them apart...

  • Yeah, but pain in the butt if theres like 13 of them.

  • I've been playing this game a LOT, and I can tell that was some really good micromanaging of your horse archers, endeavoring as you did to always positon them for maximum effect. You're quite skilled. May I ask wich difficulty this battle was on?

  • very nice game but the Huns are the best

  • Tell that to my Fransisca.

  • @MrJohn2010 one fransisca fly not more 50 meters but a hun bow flies exactly 210 meters and over 160 km, he can fly.

  • @DukkanSenin

hun bows are what you call horsebows there smaller and very felixbel but do not have the amount of power your saying it has becouz for that amount of power you looking at a 100 pound warbow (longbows) these bows the huns used fly indeed at a rate of 160 km but only till about 150 meters

  • Believe me friends, life 1500 years ago was an exciting time, alot of fighting, looting and raping. Unlike today..

  • i can imagine you being raped by the army that conquers you. and then having your family killed and hanged, or put to the stake. im sure u would have had "an exciting time". well, thats my opinion, but maybe all that is fun to you

  • You're sick!

  • @Legolasas26 and id rape your sister and kill your family

all of them your blood line would end

hell better yet id just cut your dick off howd you rape anyone with out a dick

  • @pwnsome1

    WoW! Calm down people!

  • @pwnsome1 Lol, you couldnt muster enough balls to kill a fly, and from youre name im guessing youre 12 year old WoW player. Typical keyboard warrior.

  • @Legolasas26

Listen you Lithuanian shut the fuck up and get off my page before me and my mates invade your little country AGAIN. Remember 1920? =)?

  • @Legolasas26

no actually.. from reading your 'comment'.... You were the one who is acting like a 12 year old.... if you are a so called 'adult' or a responsible guy.. then why would you say something like that on a '12 year olds' video.... So please... don't talk bullshit... if you had kids who were 12... you wouldnt go on your sons frends page & say wat you just said...... think before you speak

  • its illegal and is a war crime now thank god

  • hey m8 i got a qeustion ....

I wanna play barbardian invaison but this happen....

I install it and i think it work but when i got it i go and click play Barbarion invasion and when i click that 2 secs later this stand: please insert the cd-dvd rom but i got barbarion invasion already in it so what this !!!

  • buy it then...torrents suck and don't support game developers

  • You might have an old disc, they can be very unreliable.

  • One more thing, attila was the latin name that rome have gave to the huns' leader. His real name was Avitohol khan.

  • I didn't know that... thanks. :)

  • What portion are you talking about exactly. Because I wrote quite a bit here.

  • The Asiatic Bulgars were most likely forced to give up their phenotypes by the Ottomans. BTW, the Ottomans were Caucasoid Turks who despised their Mongoloidish counterparts. The Ottoman Caucasian Turks forced the Bulgars to lose thier asiatic appearance wither by interbreeding or they will be killed.

  • Modern Bulgarians are very racist when talking about this subject. I'm Russian and I have tried to ask Modern Bulgarians about this issue and they go ballistic whenever confronted bty such topics.

The Great Bulgarian Empire was made up by three main tribes: The Tracians, the Slavics, and the Bulgars. The Ancient Bulgars were definately east asiatic people descended from Huns, and modern day Bulgarians are definately descendants of the Slavics who were part of the Ancient Bulgarian Empire.

  • Yes, they were. There are LOTS of evidence which proves that the Huns and the Ancient Bulgars were indeed Eastren asiaticc like people. The first Bulgarian Empire was definately led by Bulgars with east asiatic phenotypes, but as time progressed they lost their asian appearance. This area of research is heavily suppressed due to the amount of racism in modern dday society. Such research would spark an outrage.

  • the huns always piss me off in the campain with there gol darn horse archers

  • True, but if you want sulphur pouring out of your nose try the mongols in Medieval II total war, they are absolute bitches with their horse archers and worse, Armored cavalry. The creators love these types of units.

  • haha.lol

  • i like to know if this game is a downloadable or a CD.

  • cd

you could get the gold edition

  • ah. dang it... oh well thanks :D

  • Don't buy the CD! Get it off Steam it's downloadable there for 10 dollars which includes Barbarian Invasion, Rome Total War, And Rome Total War: Alexander for $10. Great deal, thats where I get all my pc games it's a site you can trust.

  • naaa im not getting any :P

  • Ok thats cool, your missing out big time though

  • naaa. im saving up for fallout 3 pc

  • Tribes build up, they don't just stay as small groups warring on nations, they begin out small, and turn out large, it's what they do, and you call them pathetic. Rome was like this, now look at them. (Well their dead, but look at what they did)

  • I understand your point, but historically speaking, there is no reason to talk in terms of «comparison» «best» or «worst». It's just historical context

  • It makes me sad to think that a pathetic tribe of barbarians could take down the Roman Empire. Of course, the fall of the Roman Empire wasn't completely thanks to the invasion of the barbarians.

  • what makes you think that the tribes were "pathetic"? Don't you know that the romans began as a tribe too, and also, they taked down the greeks -a culture much more ancient that the romans- at the dawn of the republic. And also, if you think it well, the "greeks" were just another couple of tribes came from the north and from the sea: the ionics, dorics and eolics tribes that taked down the Micenic culture c 900-800 BC, and so on. This happened with all "nations" of history.

  • Compared to peak Roman glory, the tribes were pathetic. Greece, Macedon, Carthage, Pontus, Parthia, etc were nothing compared to Roman glory after the Punic Wars.

  • how did you film it?

  • Do the Huns have anything to do with Hungaria?

  • Hungary* ;)

We don't know. The most rational theory [in my opinion] is that after the death of Attila [who drowned in his own blood btw =)] the Huns lacked strong leadership and their nation was 'disolved' among different tribes in Eastern Europe.

  • Ok cheers man x

  • Actually that's not true at all. The Huns did not just "disappear." The Huns were not a single tribe, it was a confederation of many different tribes. And the leaders of the Hunnic Confederacy were the Bulgars, which is also the tribe that Attila came from.

Not long after, Attila died. His descendantsand the remnants of his Bulgar tribesmen founded the Bulgarian Khanatee which will soon evolved to the Great Bulgarian Empire.

  • not long time ago they had discovered the codex of Isfahan. this codex contain a Hunnic - Armenian dictionary from 500 AD. 80 % of the Hunnic words from that dictionary are old Hungarian. I think that this shows the connection.

  • Yes, modern Hungarians do. The forebaerers to modern Magyars were part of the Hunnic Confederacy but they were not the leading tribe. The Leading tribe were the Bulgars and the Bulgarian Empire is most direct heir to the Hunnic Empire.

  • That was a beautiful flanking maneuver..

I agree with kuroiya88, though, the Hun's cavalry enables you to run circles around CPU infantry.

  • elite roman infantry? those are peasants!

  • You may consider watching the video again.

  • haha ok I mean I do see comatitenses. playing as huns is just too easy... nothing can stop you other than city walls.

  • what do they mean if they say on the unit card info: CAN SWIM??? i mean if u play on a ocean or water map, they can actually swim????

  • they can cross rivers during battle. usefull if your holding a bridge and wana do a flank attack.

  • ohhhh

  • I have a Question, when do you get to play as other nations then the romans in Rome Total War.

Do you have to beat the game or destroy/conquer that empire?

  • you have to hold 50 cities and rome

  • lol the anoying thing in rome total war barbarianj invasion is the fucking hordes when your a smaller nation like the goths its harder to attack other nations because theres always a horde that attacks you and its pretty hard to kill a hord couse they keep retreating lol

  • archers are best against hordes - hordes can't move.

i've done well with the Goths before, conquering the Balkans and Greece, Western Turkey and on the fringe of italy, but i couldn't go any further, Rome was just too powerful for me to destroy

  • You can tell that the roman army is under the command of Constantine. Just look at the symbol on their shields.

  • all romans, east and west have that on their sheild, as an early symbol of christianity.

  • huns are the hungarians relatives:) im hungarian:)

  • It is not clear if theH uns are related to you in any way.

  • What? Weren't the Huns Asian?

  • Most of European nations come from Asia =)

  • Yes, a hungarian legend is about the huns and the hungarians (hunor and magor) are from the western side of the Ural mountaine.

  • and by modern, i mean the last 10000 years.

  • no, the were possible ancestors of western mongolians, but they are mor elikely to be eastern european from the Caspian sea. they still looked very different from westerners

  • well if you believe we all came from africa which is very possible, its very likely taht asians were originally european but left east and left some settlers behind; them becoming modern westerners.

  • it is believed that the Asians of today (india and china etc) were the first people to leave africa. they lost their dark skin, because the sun was not as harsh as in africa and they eventually migrated into China to adapt seperately to their surroundings. european ancestors then moved into europe hundreds of thousands of yrs later and adapted to the same problem, just differently, asians and europeans are the 'least' related of the human race as we evolved seperately over 200,000 yrs

  • I stand corrected ;)thx

  • that might be believed as that but people get their darker skin from a well not really a gene but you know lyk a cell in their body not from the sun

  • I'm afraid your wrong, im an grade student in chemistry, the chemical that causes 'tanning' is called melamine, in Africans this is imedatly present from birth to protect them from the harsh suns of continetal africa, europeans lost this inherent tan, as it take so uch of the bodies resource to maintin it, especially when its not useful. in europe the sunis not harsh and so we 'tan' throughout our life to protect our degrading skin, rather then being born with imediate protection.

  • oh srry i just thought it was somehting in your cells or genes that made you like that

    =)

  • what about asians with the slanted eyes

  • they may have slanted eyes yet they were able to beat the shit out of romans.

  • strawman

  • lies? yeah, atilla did it many times, like beating the shit out of romans. still believe its a lie? intellectual?

  • For your information, the Huns attacked the Romans at the time the empire was collapsing - they only contributed. Take into account the Germanic migrations, goths, vandals, alans and suevi, etc, the rise of the Sassanids, and the divided Roman empire. Furthermore, the Romans were plagued with civil wars and had overexpanded, rendering them unable to develop and consolidate their power. Nice ad hominem by the way.

    Moving along.

  • all of the migrations were BECAUSE OF THE HUNS. They were running for their lives, the huns were not the kind to let men live, and even if Rom was at its best when the huns attacked they still would have been butchered. the only reason why the huns stopped was because of Attilas death on one of his marriages (historians believe he choked on something and died, this is supposed to be the most likely this the happened). And it was the Romans fault they had civil wars.

  • Any empire as big as rome is going to have a civil war.Germanic migrations had been a source of perpetual conflict throughout the centuries -why do you think Augustus attempted to conquer Germania? It definitely wasn't worth it - spread population without cities to tax, no vital trade routes existed, and developing agriculture would have taken a lengthy deforestation program. Besides, can we really credit the hun's military skills for inadvertently causing a huge influx of invading barbarians?

  • i break germans

  • what i heard was that atilla drank too much and got a very bad nosebleed (which can be caused by alchahol) and he drowned in his blood cause it ran into his throat

  • i mean, pseudo intellectual. suits you just fine!

  • rofl kid. you don't even know what you are talking about - my comment was not racism directed at asiatic peoples - i am asian myself. I was asking a previous commenter below how asians genetically acquired their slanted eyes.

  • uh ok, i apologize for butting in then...

  • real the huns never beat the romens

  • they did defeat themon several occasions, they invaded northern Italy and laid waste to northern Greece before being turned away mysteriously by the Pope, no-one is sure why they fled from him

  • because he was some big to them killing him wouldo kill they empier it be like indian people kill they gods

  • The Huns weren't christian

  • dude i tried watching it in high quality and firefox crashed so i tried again and the same thing happend.

  • has anyone ever read willian naipers ATILLA series books

  • I'm having difficulties with playing with the huns cause whenever I wanna start managing some settlements entire armies are being disbanded even when I try to keep 'm out of the regions I take over... Is it just about sacking as much settlements as possible in the beginning before setteling down or is it just about rushing towards the hearts of the eastern and western empire?

I'ld love to have replies from you all

    greetz

    -501-

  • its no good trying to establish an empire in eastern europe, or even in germany, to succeed you must first accumulat as much money as possible without comprimising the size of your forces. aiming for the largest, richest cities is the best option, ass they are likely to be poorly defended within the Western Roman empire and give you the most money when you pillage them. when you have several tens of thousand of denarii then aim for a major city to begin settling in.

  • the huns are the best.

  • how can you put so many soldiers in one unit? if i recruit for example hunnic elite cavalry there are only 33 soldiers in one unit

  • You mean my strategy?

  • holy crap dude u need to go to a hospital

  • I know- just ignore him.

  • thats a horrible tactic.

  • go on building broser and right click your army barracks and its there slayer

  • Can someone show me how to create the hun heavy sword and heavy spear infantry. I don't know the unit ID's. PLEASE HELP!!

  • ive just ordered this expansion for 4 quid from asda with free delivery:P looks good

  • just took over rome(city) from the roxolani last week

  • but i still love the huns

  • if the huns could just have foot archers, my life with their campaign would be so much easier. i just lost a city to a slavic horde today because had very few infantry and no archers that could stand on walls.

  • you suuuuuuck xDDD

Use strategy, enemy soldiers are supposed to get to your walls as a last resort..

  • if they use their ladders & towers to attack walls, then they cant take advantge of their numbers. that was my strategy. it would have worked except only 2 units of infantry took my walls after killing all my infantry. those 2 infantry ended up in fighting to the death mode on top of my walls and i had no infantry left but some cavalry who could probably beat them if they weren't on the walls. i had already killed the rest of the army.

  • Hun:"Conan, what is best in life?"

Conan:"To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women!"

    Hun:"That is good!"

  • Can someone e-mail me on a list of how to create the all the units that pertain to the huns, I need to know how to make the best units of their armies??!!

  • Good stuff. I'm actually doing a Huns campaign right now, where I'm SACKING all of Europe and the Middle East. Right now, I'm pushing onto Carthage. I believe it's been 40 years so far into the campaign and I haven't settled in yet...just SACKING and LOOTING. It's great. Huns Heavy Horseman Calvary are definitely the best!

  • i love the rally horn and the general's pose at the end. genius. 5/5

  • Huns.Are.The.Best.

  • Good video man, hey for some reason my cavalry/ infantry arent nearly as fast, do you know why? is it an option or something?

  • dude just remmember to double right click if you want yor men to run

  • lol i know how to run, its just, when my men are running, their not running as fast for some reason, is it an option or something? i remember doing it kinda, but i dunno

  • i like the goths the spearmen are ownage i killed 7000 samaitans with 2 regiments of light cavalry and 4 gothic spearment regiments

  • They wouldn't be able to catch my horse archers :p

  • neither would match my Clibinarii

  • they are heavy cavalry and Horse Archers all in 1

  • how do you record yourself playing rome total war?

  • By using Fraps.

  • do you pay for it or do you have the cracked version ?

  • hell yea dude i got this game and im actually a hun kick ass man i play with them all the time

  • You should check out other factions =) They;re fun too..

  • i hear ya man

  • Lol , don't really like BI .. I'm more into RTW ; RTW Alexander(+ LOTR-TW mod :P) and sometimes M2TW .. It's just , don't like the units in BI

  • yea not much for RTW BI

  • Mehow can u help me ive got a error

    -5009 : 0x80041f42

    anyone plz help me! ty

  • I'll search the net and see what I can do ;)

  • nice use of cavalry archers

  • Well thank you ^^ You need to relay a lot on your HA if you want to play as the Huns

  • cool

  • Thanks ^^'

  • Lol I forgot that in BI the ai is more retarded then medieval.

They should've trained some archers if they wanted to stand a chance.

  • Well at this point the Western Roman Empire is nearly gone and they don't have the resources to train anything xD They have 3 settlements left. What you see here is nearly half of all Roman forces... The Franks have conquered all of France and Germany, Italy and half of Spain belongs to me and in Africa the Berbers are also doing pretty well :P

  • Poor WRE :p

  • Well they are poor indeed as I sacked 10 of their settlements with my Horde xD I also took Constantinople and all of southern Greece xD I guess this campaign is not going very well for Romans :p To bad I'm the ruler of Rome now and I'm gonna be next x/

  • In my hunnic campaign long ago, I first took down the eastern roman empire, by settling in Constantinople then I started moving towards Rome.

Big empires are always doomed to fall :(
