uhh,,,how old are you anyway???? i fell in love with sabu too, when i first saw him..wow me and you alike..

  • where can i find the part where the king is stabbed by the statue?

  • @alx101b Get the movie!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It was a film that pioneered so many new optical special effects, it was groundbreaking, on the level of 2001: A space Odyssey, Star Wars and Jurassic Park each in their own time.

  • Sabu really was one of the most beautiful actors of the '40s

  • effects look pretty good for 1940

  • This movie may be from 1940,but this promo clearly is not.

At first I figured it was from an early '70's kiddie-matinee re-release,but the graphics are all wrong.

  • How could he not be a good guy, he had a flying carpet at his camand.......jajajaja I loved his movies.

I watched "The Buster Brown Show", every Saturday Morning, too watch SABU!. His running around and being a free spirit was a very good lesson for kids. We can do as we please, and do the right thing while were at it. Peace

  • yes, it was a racist done movie. It was the 1940's. I'll tell ya this, as a kid of color, I loved it because he looked like my family, my peers, my friends, like the people I grew up with in the Bronx. that's why I love this guy, Sabu. I know he suffered, I also know he had a better live for his skills as an actor. So, I'm glad he gave us "Hope", and it worked! Thank You, Sabu, RIP

  • I got the CD The World of Sabu. Some recordings of music and narration by him. And in there, he is quoted as saying to director Michael Powell, "I and my family are eating well and sleeping well and that's all that matters to me." Makes me think that Sabu was like anyone, trying to do his best and take care of his family. So it makes me think he was a good guy and a person who only wanted to give hope. I liked reading your comment.

  • Wow, now I know

    why we are fighting in

    Iraq.

    Such technology!

    Flying carpets and Genies.

I didn't know they were so far advanced then

us people in the united states of america.

  • Ummm...

  • mmmh... ehi, your reasons are more convincing then all that fucked lies about freedom and democracy. Maybe you should give some advices to your president...

  • It's called sarcasm you bitter idiot. Enjoy the clip

  • Haha, yes, weapons of mass flying carpets!

However, remember, one of the greatest libraries of ancient times was in Baghdad, the House of Wisdom (Bait al-Hikma), which flourished 900 years before the USA.

  • And let me add from the wiki page on the Library, "in the 11th century, Nizam al-Mulk founded the Al-Nizamiyya of Baghdad, considered one of the first universities and the 'largest university of the Medieval world'"

  • @dave98503

Because when we were so advanced, the country known as the United States of America didn't even exist.

And the glory of Iraq isn't about myths such as Genies and Flying carpets, you should Google Mesopotamia or Babylon.
