I say Atlanta drivers are worse...lol...When its a nice day they drive like Sunday drivers. When it rains or snows they drive faster...they dont know how to park parallel...its like if they bought their drivers license from Wal-Mart,lol..

Yeah, that part of I-20 looks like I-95 in your Philly video. It doesn't look close to the highways like I-85, 75. The shoulders are too close.

Before Exit 46, you can actually see the skyline of Atlanta from that hill on I-20. I could see the downtown buildings and skyscrapers from there. That one round building always stands out every time.

Yes, it was the last freeway in the city to be rebuilt in the 1980's and they did it right.

Awesome video! I-20 looks like the worst freeway in ATL, compared to some of the others you have filmed. It looks like they widened it from six to eight lanes without adding more space.

I live in detriot roads are bad there and theres only two or four lanes in the city and it isn't enough just to make the bad roads even worse.

All of Atlanta is 55 inside I-285 (except for 50 MPH on what you just saw) Outside I-285 in the Metro Area is 65 MPH and then 70 MPH way out of town.

I've contacted GDOT and GSP in the past about the low speed limit on I-20 (between I-285 and I-75/85): it has the lowest speed limit on a metro Atlanta Interstate that isn't undergoing construction. Neither agency has responded to my inquiry.

SR 166 has tigher quarters and sharper curves, yet its speed limit is 55 mph.

Yeah, I sometimes feel safer driving at 70 - 75 mph on wide freeways (eight laners - four in either direction) than four laners - two in either direction. The reason being, those wide freeeways give drivers a little wiggle room.

But, I digress.
