I always thought that sucked! I wish i could lower my gun over live.Also @coren9 it is not a glitch, it is more of a cheat.Bungie intended for it and Halo must have been made with machinama in mind. Lowering weapons, Forge, and theater.Perfect for machinama!

I make Halo machinima, but the possibility of a new "BXR" is not worth the ability of lowering weapons over LIVE. That's why they didn't include it, they didn't fail at all..

I agree with you on that one actually, I already have this gametype that makes you look like youre holding a flamethrower without the actual weapon and I absolutly love"ed" the BXR.

I'm afraid me and my clan shall be playing on the day the update comes out mostly because our clan feels tht it's a ridiculous idea to have weapon lowering in a game inteaded for killing halo 3 isn't a game intended for movie making and the weapon lowering is a glitch bungie never intended on having (i wud like to note this is our clans opinion if ur opinion is different thts fine we don't mind)

from what i heard bungie did it to stop hacking so if some1 dose find a hack with it it's limited to local games not full x box live but thats what i heard still a great idea that u want to help get better rights for directors

as it turns out, it isn't a hack. In the animation, people lower their guns so that they look like they surrender or give up or something when they don't so they end up getting a cheap kill so bungie got pissed and disabled lowering weapons on xbox live
