@JiveDG: I agree with you that Lebron would have been able to score on MJ. MJ was a great defender, but great players always find a way to score. Lebron wouldn't have been able to stop MJ, either. My man Clyde Drexler lit MJ up over and over. In his prime (1988-1992) Clyde averaged 29 ppg against MJ and shot over 50% from the floor. MJ couldn't stop him. Of course, he couldn't stop MJ either, so they just lit each other up and the best team usually won.

What I'm saying is that Kobe never was the main factor in his team, unlike MJ. It's fact. Gasol has more win shares in BOTH offense AND def. which effectively makes him #1. Gasol made 40 double-doubles last season alone, KB made 10. With Shaq it was even more evident!
