@CMDRFandragon You got absolutely no idea of the f4f's capabilities... How do ya explain the k/d ratio of 7:1 for the wildcat?? There were not a lot of planes in WW2 that reached such a k/d ratio...

Although the zero is probably the most nimble aircraft of WW2, the wildcat is a very agile and fast diving plane!

In the darkest day's of WW2, it protected the carriers, where no f6f and no f4u existed. Achieving a k/d ratio of 7:1 against some of the best pilots of the 20th century is truely unique!

But what I really like bout Japan it is the fact Japan are not ashamed for participating in WW II at least from what i heard, read and saw.

Its rare cuz most country's are like in paranoia destroying every proof they where axis like its going to change the history.

But Japan is like yea we fought, our pilots where great and brave man, we had our purpose we cool with that.

Kamikaze pilots were brave, but the only reason they were used is because all their experienced pilots had been killed. They were ordered to kill themselves and were always brought up that to defy orders is worse than death. Japan was a fucked up country in WW2.
