She was admitted to the hospital shrtly after this video was made. They changed her drugs around and it did do wonders for a little while. The insurance decides what she gets, not the doctors. I would say that you already know how that works. dr wanted her there longer, but kept getting denied. She came close to death again when she was choked on food. This time rehab was much shorter. It is like she had to start all over and on her own.
when I have inflammation in the back of my neck, or bottom of my head, I loose all knowledge of who people are and where I am, though I know I know that I know the person or place... she looks like this is happening to her, it is very scary & for me I didn't tell anyone, until years later, now I use ice to reduce the inflammation & don't go out those days.
Dr's never told me what it is called. healing didn't really start until the three year mark, don't give up.
Thanks, God bless your journey as well. I spend all of my time looking for something that just "clicks" for Angela. We want to find something that puts her closer back to what she loves (She is a strong, independant, caring, funny and a perfect mother). She has been robbed by her injury. I wish that there was more stuff out there about it. All BI's are different. I would love to know what she is thinking most of the time or even how to help her. We could really relate with your clips. Thanks
This is so so real. And raw. What a devastating injury. Thanks for the courage to post it. I wish Angela all the best in her recovery. Slow and steady is the name of this game . . . Rest, rest, and more rest, with no heroics. And best to you Joe . . . hang tough.
