great lesson..sorta the sound that made csn(y) ...cept they used diff tunings...but same ideer. Works very well when you are playin with a couple guys, so yer all not just hittin the same shit...adds loads of color...AND when u get used to the chords, it super duper helps you learn where to go for lead without thinking about it
i have a question, see im new and uh i have a washburrn oscar schmidt and my dad says its good, i like it alot bbut im just asking cause my dad dont play guitar lol and he told me it good please answer my question please
There's no denying that. I really appreciate all the instructors at GT. I just started trying to learn about 7 weeks ago. Started out with an Ibanez starter but I'm far enough in to know I'm committed to the cause and just bought a Taylor 114ce. Now, if I could just play it like Neal I'd be doing OK.
wha strings do you use on your acoustic?? :)

You have to bear in mind that good technique is also what makes an instrument sound good..

awesome lesson neal! how about for the next one, you have a lesson on tremolo picking or some sweeps.
avincent55 2 years ago
I'm not a sweep picking pro but we have been getting alot of requests for it..maybe I'll have to bone-up on my skills.
Guitartricks 2 years ago
aw no prob! just throwing a common request down. plus i know how hard it is to switch from one style to another. haha, it's a pain! :)
