  • This show taught me way more about history than any teacher I've ever had.

  • My mom just bought this series to go with my us history book...yay :)

  • When i was young i used to watch this show all the time. My friends would always make fun of me because this was like a History channel. They wanted me to watch all this other stuff but i love Liberty's Kids. I don't watch it anymore but i keep all the DVD's in my memory box and look at them.

  • When my teacher plays Liberty's Kids during social studies we all sing and the popular girls dance! Including me.

  • 0:27 - 1:09 is my favorite....(watch someone write 0:00 - 1:14)

  • I loved this show When I was little I couldn't stop humming the theme even though the time period was Oblivious to me

  • Theme song's pretty catchy for such an educational show. ;) I love this show. <3

  • i watch this in social studies and love this song

  • I'll be honest, this show is part of the reason that I became so addicted to U.S. History :)

  • @SilentCreed518

Same here! I've always sucked at History, but when I started taking US History and we learned about the Revolutionary War, I enjoyed it. :) Makes me love this country even more.

  • Love this show! God bless America and her freedom!!

  • ... I thought I had something funnier to say... um... give me a thumbs up

  • I feel old because I forgot this show existed. I used to watch it with Arthur and Caillou and Sagwa and Dragon Tales. I still watch Arthur and I'm 20. I would still watch all the other shows if they still came on.

  • Nazi propaganda

  • I think this is the first kid's show I saw with this much backstory and character development. Not to mention the way it shows ALL sides of the war (slaves, indians, french, hessians, women,) instead of just America vs England.

    What's not to love?

  • my dad used to record these episodes on VHS for me and my bro.

we're teenagers now (15 &16) , and we STILL love this show <3

i've got a mission to find all those VHS's :D

thumbs up if you wish you could still see this on tv!!

  • My sisters and I used to watch this and love it and talk about it all night when we were supposed to be asleep... we always wanted Sarah and James to get together! Fun old days

  • I'm Canadian but I loved watching this show. Sadly, I know more about American history than Canadian history...

  • Ah, memories

  • I used to watch this all the time. I'm now questioning why it aired in Canada. :/

  • I used to watch this show all the time dang I miss it!

  • 22 people are british

  • I remember how me and my younger sister watched this when we were younger in our younger teens. I'm now 23 and she 20. I'm in my final semester of college and I'm taking an American Revolution class and I am watching the series again as I go along with the lectures! :)

  • I used to love this show, I was like 8 or 9, I can't say I always understood what was going on but i loved it! I wish it was still running.

  • I remember how much I loved this show, how well written I thought it was, and how cool it was to have all those voices! I was just out of college when this was on in my first apartment and I remember also then, as it does today, the opening would make the blood rush to my head and give me those feelings of wanting to joint the Rebels too. :) Miss this show.

  • I like the show!!!

  • this song is lovale!!!!!

  • I used to love this show!!!! I always thought it was Anree rapping

  • I like James with that outfit at 0:36. He looks super cute!

  • @PineNeedle878 Really? lol no I always thought it was James doing the rappin' too haha

  • This show made American History a lot more interesting to learn. And it's much more fun than having to read a history book from cover to cover x-(

  • When I was really little I saw this and later on something was missing and I saw this in school and I love it again.

  • Thumbs up if u still watch I miss this show so much !!

  • i thought that one boy was a girl

  • the rapping part is killing hip hop faster its a disgrace to hip hop and nyc

  • @bigge1495 Lol well it was the early 00's. (Sighs) I miss the early 0's

  • GOOD ASS SHOW. I always wondered what the real people depicted in it would have thought of their cartoon representations, though.

  • i use to watch this show when i was little and i watch it in my history class well the one about the boston tea party

  • @MidnightFearie14 omg same thing here!!!!!

  • I seriously need to get the DVD box set. I really want to re-watch the show.

  • God I miss this show. Educational AND Cool.

  • Ultimate nostalgia

  • i love this show.

  • fcken love this theme song

  • I remember when my 4th grade class watched this everday (best class ever, mind you) and no one could remember all the lyrics to the rap, so when they said "Red, white, and blue, never give up, we represent, America!" we'd all fist pump and sing-a-long, everytime. Makes me miss the simple days before high school. )':

  • AAAAAAAAARON CARTTTTERERRRRRRRR!

  • who sings this? Sounds a little country

  • This was the best theme song ever.

  • A classic TV show!!! I love it!!! :]

  • I remeber this too when I was little. It was one of the tings that got me into history.

  • I watch this in 5th grade for social studies. Everyone sing the song. Dude starts rapping. When he says AMERICA!!! One of my friends does perfect timing and also says it. He says it's his part. I say he will never become a rapper in a million years. :3

  • Pretty good song. We watch it on the Smartboard at school. The teacher freaking skipped the theme song! Grrrrr!

  • Im Canadian and seen this show many times as a kid, loved it.

  • I hope today in elementary schools they still play this show sometimes. I remember as a kid getting so excited when the teacher put this on for our history lesson.I was like 'OMG LIBERTY KIDS!' :-D I still even like the song, even today. Gosh, some things never get old for me. I can listen to the theme for hours. Fond Memories.

  • youtube should have an automatic repeat button. seriously.

  • @forgrthandstands it does. just copy the link and before it says (dot) com , type repeat :)

  • lol i used to love watching this show when i was younger! and i remember watching it in class and we all used to love it and get excited when we got to watch it X3

  • i miss watching this show!!!

  • Lol when i was younger, I always thought that James and Sarah were singing. Thumbs up if you thought so too;)

now, 8 or 9 years later, American History is my favorite subject. <3

  • This show used to be my favorite! :D

  • nice

  • Im Canadian and i watched this all the time when i was younger.

  • I find it weird how the kids never change, like they age 11 years over 40 episodes yet always look exactly the same. Honri is 19 when he returns to France and James and Sarah are in their late 20s.

  • @Bwkjam

It's especially weird when the other characters (like Ben Franklin) DO age. Apparently, James, Sarah, and Henri have found the Foutain of Youth. XD

  • I remember the days in middle school where my teacher would show us an episode. :D

  • i miss this song and show....brings back so many memories

  • @CrimesonWatcher Sure. Disregarding my last comment, I still very much like this song, and I really don't know why you're replying to my last comment anyways. I'm kind of tired of commenting back to people who have agreed with me so far. So if I ignore anyone else who responded, please don't take offense.

    ^-^

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW! I watched this show when I was young. The theme song just made me cry cuz I forgot about that epic show for 2 years. Best history show ever!

  • i was addicted to this show when i was six

  • We listened to this in skool

  • Man when I was little this was an amazing show. I never knew what they were doin. Now that I'm in school studying it, it's a lot clearer

  • @Twinbro2100 Same here! This show was the shizzz.

  • Watching "Liberty Kids" makes me wish that American politicians were still this great.

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 yea and it makes me proud to be an american

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 I TOTALLY agree.

  • YYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAYYYYY MY FAVORITE SHOW FOREVER LIBERTY KIDSSSSS

  • who thought Saraha and James sang this song.

  • This show was the reason why i passed American history! And wow the lyrics are powerful!

  • They should re-air this show on TV every Saturday morning again!! It's actually educational & interesting! It's facts made for kids. They can actually learn something from shows like this instead of the all the crap that's on TV nowadays. I have to admit, 1990-2005 are approx the times that have real good stuff on TV. Kids should be kids, not adults. Esp Disney, CN, & Nick. There are a lot more sexual implications in their shows nowadays. That's just sick.

  • I'm not even American lol, but it was a great show to watch. Very helpful in my American and world history classes

  • i love the British girl

  • my jam!

  • I used to watch this show all the time.

  • As Bandit Keith would say.

"This show is a perfect classic for kids... in America."

  • @ctwatcher100 lol, anime abriged on youtube

  • I have a feeling this show will help me more this year in APUSH than my actual textbook

  • ...And now, I'm in AP history.

  • I'm looking at my childhood... through my own eyes.

  • I almost thought this show didn't exist, it disappeared so quickly. I actually miss it. I want the Liberty Kids back. I don't care that I'm in college. I will watch it.

  • Wow, I used to love watching this show all the time. Looking back on it now and like watching some of the episodes now makes me think, "wow, this soo would have helped my bump up my history grade last year"

  • This show is the reason I love history , Im sorry but I do. <3

  • @kathykatostrophe,

sorry? What for? Those who don't care a whit about history are the ones who should be sorry. If you don't know your past, how can you make your future better? (That's a rhetorical question). Bravo to you for loving history!

  • I used to LOVE this show!

  • I loved this show! Off to Netflix!!! :D

  • Dude this is how I passed my U.S History and Social Studies classes! XD

  • The theme song is the best part of the show...

  • This show was incredible helpful for me, even into my high school AP US class.

Even though I didn't realize it at the time, I learned a lot from it. Shows like this reinforce my pride to be an American

  • @ChattyConfucius LOL. So much for American pride. This show is mostly historically inaccurate.

  • @hungr4anime Actually no. This show was for grades 4 and 8 (The grades in which your in US History) and when you get higher like in a HighSchool AP class, it will tell u that some of the information was incorrect but its still a bit correct.

  • america get ready for a second revolution. our liberties are steadily being emproached upon by the state, banking and corporate greed, government corruption, taxation without representation, taxing of our private property(income taxes), the "patriot" act, false flag terroism, fda shoving toxic foods down ouir throat, no soverigty due to intangling alliances, gov. secrets, payed off media brainwashing, premptive wars, the federal reserve central bank who rob us. the revolution is inevitable.

  • Luv this show ever since 4th grade!

  • I learned more from this show than anyother course through school. I'm 21 and a History major in college. WTH?

  • I'm going to 8th grade this year. I really really miss this show. I havent watched it since...for like three years ): Until my A.I.S. teacher brought the DVDs and let us watch the series during the last month of school :) I miss this show!

  • This show was the best show on PBS! It was better than Arthur and that's saying something!
