  • Turns out the solution to this was to disable the Windows Media Center navigation sounds (all the tones you hear when moving around the menus), all worked fine after that.

  • Hey I had this same error on a laptop I was setting up. Turned out that I did not have the driver for the video card installed. I had just installed Windows 7 on the laptop. Check to make sure you have correct/up to date video drivers installed. Worked for me.

    PS: wish I had the Ceton infinitv4 card but I think I will wait for the HDHomeRun Prime.
