The reason why the name was changed : Hearst (King Features) was ready to take Hanna-Barbera to court...as the Flagstones surname was a wee little bit to similar to KFS's "Flagstons" (Hi & Lois)
This was actually "test footage" (later reanimated and incorporated into "The Swimming Pool" episode), produced to sell the series to ABC {note the grease pencil marks on the film identifying certain scenes}, and, during the winter of 1960, to potential advertisers. Ken Muse is the animator; Daws Butler is "Fred" [Alan Reed was later chosen for the series]; June Foray is "Betty" [she was replaced by Bea Benaderet for the series]; Jean VanderPyl is "Wilma".
