This would be 2-3 months AFTER John told the others he was leaving The Beatles.

One cannot help but wondering why he didn't take the opportunity to tell the world when he had the chance; instead giving Paul the "honour".

Yeah I know about the audio. I recorded this live on to my hard disk about 10 years ago and burned it on to CD shortly thereafter. The equipment used was primitive to say the least (especially by today's standards) so I apologize.
