The swining pirate at the beginning and the dame poking her head out the barrel with a torch weren't working when I went earlier this month, I only just noticed them in this video!

The sad crying donkey in the stable and the sad meowing cat on the crate in the river make me so sad... and the dames being chased by the men is so fun lol. I loved the skeleton in the bed and the one with the gold... so symbolic/ironic!!

they have made the drop back to the original ,they changed it for a while as they added Jack Sparrow to the ride but in my opinion it wasn't as good and the drop was small and boring,but now its back to normal and the ride is brilliant again.

The lift hill is one of my favourite parts of this ride because of all of the cogs and gears spinning the red eyes staring at you through the darkness, the roar of the water and the Main theme booming away in the background.

This was my favourite ride in the whole of Disneyland!! :D One day, me and my dad went on this about 10 times non-stop coz we loved it so much!

It was soo funny cause when i went for my 13 B-Day with my mum and my best friend, there was 3 english boys behind us and at 2:00 there where going ' Oh this hill is gonna be sick :) ' and it just went weee and all off us where wetting ourself laughing cause there looked like numpties.

I love how they still have the classic men chasing the women. Thats the way it was back then, but people are so darn sensitive and can't handle the truth so they switched it over in the states. I hope they never change this, and perhaps one day I will have the opportunity to see it for myself!

It's really lovely. It has authentic Carribbean meals and has a wonderful atmosphere. It's really nice to be part of the ride itself and it is like you have jumped into the world of POTC. It is a bit overpriced, but a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think you will like it :D

Hello! I ve been to the restaurant and its very good<; ill rate it 8/10. the food is excellent different than any other different in the park it has a tropical menu which really goes with the atmosphere which is really nice. Book it in advance its usually very crowed !

i remember like it was yesterday!!!!!! getting to the steep bit and shouting "DAD YOU TOLD ME THERE WERE NO ROLLERCOASTERY BITS IN IT!!!" lmao. then me and mum screaming and laughing on the way down! we had these really mardy people on our little boat thing though like "people are trying to enjoy their meal"...ITS DISNEY PEOPLE!!!

No, there have been no changes to the original attraction. I believe it's now the only one "true" to the original (California, Florida and Tokyo have the 4 or so new movie-based animatronic characters). Personally I count that as a good thing, but I know opinions differ... ;-)

You can meet the Jack Sparrow character outside sometimes, near Skull Rock.

I have been hearing rumors that Pirates is going to get the refurb including replacing the civilian swordsman with Will Turner, seeing as how his character is based off of the swordsman.
