1.phone them right away if you think you or anyone else is in danger

2.Donot provoke the situation and walk away if possible.

The guys in the car were obviously in the wrong because the passenger got out first. He invited himself to the situation. If the trucker invited him out to fight and the guy goes along with it, it's his fault if he gets assaulted.
