  • for the longest time,I could not bring myself to watch this. Today, I watched it and did so without crying. I am truly healing ! Heath, you are enjoying the peace that long eluded you in life. Thank u for the memories and for the movies, and most of all: thank you for the sweetness that you brought to this world. Love, light and peace, my friend. You are missed. Even though u are not far away, u are still missed.

  • Heath already had issues with insomnia before he took on the role of The Joker, playing The Joker along with the mental strain that it took to portray The Joker destroyed him.

  • @princessivoryrose his Joker role actually had nothing to do with his death...

  • @Susi2584 I thought that his death had to do with a culmination of stress. I always thought that he took those pills in order to sleep because he suffered from insomnia. You said that it had nothing to do with his role as The Joker but you didn't state why.

  • @princessivoryrose yea he took pills and was in stress long before The Joker role..also Christian Bale stated that Heath was a professional actor and that The Joker role didn't fuck him up like some people are saying...

  • What is 1:08 and 2:37 from ?! Someone knows ?!?

  • This is so powerful. Every time I watch it, Heath touches my heart. He is so missed and so loved and will be forever.

  • this video always touches me deep inside of my heart

  • Thanks for uploading this video! just shows how much of a beautiful soul he had! <3

  • how could someone EVER dislike Heath Ledger??? -.- that's wrong. :P least we all know we loved him and everything he di ;) ...hehe

  • I feel like he is taking a picture of me through the computer screen. "NO, NO! dont take a picture of me! im crying because i saw your beautiful face outside of the movies." ;(

  • Very Powerful. It's as if I understand him, like I'm in his fast mind.

  • at 3.06 you can see that Heath Ledger could have made a perfect Jeff Buckley he would have been the best actor for the part I believe it's a shame he had to die when he did the dark night was his gate way to any film part he wanted

  • Thanks so much for uploading this wonderful piece of art! I haven't seen this for a while and now I'm glad that I've found it again.

It's beautiful tribute to Heath...as a person and as an artist. He was so talented and beautiful in many ways...

I really love the first clip. The way he looks in the camera is adorable and his smile at 0:27 always make me smile, as well.

    Thanks again for sharing this!

  • is that his daughter Matilda at 3:14 in the pool with him

  • Oh wow! GREAT video! So beautiful. A great work of art in tribute to dear Heath. I believe he never wanted to leave here so soon..he had so much more to give. Beautiful boy, beautiful Heath, your energy is still will us.

  • the first clip makes me smile.. but the rest is so sad :(

    R.I.P. Heath ♥

  • In my opinion he lost himself while playing the role of the Joker. One of the reasons why he died, I expect. The character of Joker, after all, is very destructive. But, still, I reckon where he is right now, he is his good self again, his real self. Cleansed.

  • I was intrigued by DarkBunnyLord and Bruna941000's conversation. I would have to agree though that it was Heath's mentality and state that probably drove him into dying. Not that he necessarily committed suicide. He had such an exhausting and chaotic life, that it's not surprising that he ended up taking all those pills, in order to keep him relaxed. Also to play a character like the Joker, especially the way that he did it, it's not surprising he became different.

  • We know him from his movies, and what brought us to watch more of his movies was that we were attracted to that part of him which was always present.

    Thanks for this video.

    R.I.P Heath

  • Does anybody know what camera he's holding at 2:33?

  • is perfect!

  • @MadisonTwatterJE Thats because he was a true artist. Anyone who puts every fiber of their being into their craft can be seen and remembered like they were everybody's friends. Anyone that burns that brightly in the collective consciousness will always be remembered. We love you Heath. Its been 3 years, and it feels like a lifetime. Rest in peace friend.:)

  • I only knew of his name before he died, but he strangely pushed his way into my interest after his passing. The impact he has made on me was out of nowhere, after watching him and listening to him I now feel like I'm grieving. Beautiful video. Rest in peace, and keep smiling.

  • what film is it?

  • God damn. I can't believe they won't release the Black Eyed Dog full video. Those sons of bitches.

  • this person was awesome!!! there is no doubting it. but the strange thing for me is that i never knew him personally but i really felt connected to him, and when he died i took it strangely hard, as if he was a friend of mine. i had favorite actors and singers whom have died and they never affected me in the way heath's passing did. this has got to be my most favorite video of him that i have seen thank you very much for posting and sharing it with us

  • Can someone please tell me the name of the song in the video?

  • just perfect

  • i was supposed to have his babies!!!

  • i have only just found this - thank you for posting. He seems to be a really good person, he was certainly a wonderful actor. Strangeky, i feel his loss, as if i knew him. with respect, robbiew8n.

  • morning yearning > life

  • Thank you for sharing this with us. It's wonderful! ;^ )

  • ahhh beautiful !!!!!!! I miss him so much more...omg :'(

  • he was so beautiful.... we really miss you heath.... we really love you..

  • How did you get this Footage?

Beautiful video, im looking to see more like this.

RIP Heath, if there was a perfect man it would be you <3

  • thanks for the nice vid.

  • this is the best short concerning heath ledger that i've seen. thanks for uploading

  • he's sssssooo fucking perfect!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow! the black and white scenes are amazing!!

  • @MsLauraChannel1

yes they are! did he did that????

  • @shotterslife I think so.... He knew quite well how to handle a camera....

  • Comment removed

  • very creative and well done. it has depth and texture.

  • Really a shame he decided to kill himself (please don't argue this, he took a fistful of pills and went to sleep, he was intelligent enough to know how that nap was going to end).

He was a great actor and played a plethora of different roles, such a loss to the entertainment world and to his family.

  • @DarkBunnyLord sorry but i've to argue.he was sick he had a pneumonia, and a depression and after making the joker he was disturbed by the character he was so committed that he even made a diary of joker to better understand the way of thinking and being the character, he spent a month in a hotel room to practice the laugh, the way to walk and the tics of joker.he wasn't really good and being away from his daughter didn't improve anything his psychological state.he wasn't the same heath

  • @Bruna941000 So you're stating that he had driven himself so crazy that he didn't realize a litteral fist full of pills was going to wind up badly?

I have a very hard time believing that. Could it have effected his choice? Certainly, no argument there, but claiming that he was so out of it that he lost absolutely all foresight of such an obvious act seems highly unlikely.

  • @DarkBunnyLord look you can say whatever you want but who really knew him know that he didn't nothing against his life with intent.i'm sure that he never would do that to himself, one thing that he wanted so bad was see his little daughter grow up,he would never hurt her,let her down or let her grow up without a dad.his friends said when he died that he was exhausted and sick was different and strange wasn't the same extrovert and funny Heath and was all the time talking about his daughter!

  • @Bruna941000 Dude... nigh everyone that committs suicide has the same thing said about them. It's a tragedy, but it happens, lots of times no one see's it coming. It's called depression, it's what usually triggers suicide in people be they fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, it really doesn't matter you just have to look at it from what he did + the result, it certainly doesn't look like an accident.

  • @DarkBunnyLord you know what? whatever, think what you want!! but don't accuse him of nothing that anyone in two years and almost eigth months could prove!

  • @Bruna941000 Continue to not think logically while your at it =D

  • @DarkBunnyLord We are all entitled to our own opinion. I don't think for one minute that Heath committed suicide. I believe it was a tragic accident. Heath would not have wanted to leave Matilda. You can say otherwise, freedom of speech and all that.

Let's no tarnish this beautiful mans memory, let him rest in peace. Please.

  • @nannybebe74 I realize, but all the evidence points to exactly the opposite is all I'm saying. Rather than ignore it we should instead recognize it and look for depression in people so it can be treated to avoid something like this happening (it does all the time, people loose family yearly to suicide.)

  • @DarkBunnyLord can i ask if you are a Heath Ledger fan?cause if you are you don't know him very well! i already said that to you but i repeat, Heath would never do that to himself, never! this is not about what we think that happened or what his death looks like this is about what he believed, what he went through in his life and what Heath was as a person, taking into account all this, i can make sure that he didn't committ suicide. it is enough we know him well as a person to realize that.

  • @Bruna941000 Yes, I am, and you're likely wrong. 1st off, unless you knew him in person you probably knew little to nothing about him. Second how dare you say that committing suicide means you have something out against your family.

Don't you realize people say THE SAME THING, when their best friends, their kids, their parents, or anyone else very close that they knew far better than you knew an actor you adored commits suicide?

Almost no one EVER see's it coming.

  • @DarkBunnyLord when i said that committing suicide means you have something out against your family? if you didn't untherstand what i said is one thing but you say that i said one thing like that is really bad. i really don't know where this idea came from.cause i never said it.

  • @Bruna941000 This was my mistake, I had read both your, and nannybee's post at the same time, the later of which said he'd never do that to Matilda as if someone that did commit suicide didn't care for their family.

Either way, facts are facts, he took a handful of pills and went to sleep. He certainly wasn't a stupid person, so all evidence points to it being suicide. Again, very very tragic, but I don't see any reason to think it an accident.

  • @DarkBunnyLord i don't see any reaon to think it a suicide!!!

  • @Bruna941000 So you think he was retarded and believed it was a good idea to take, sleeping pills, vicoden, anxiety pills, depression pills, and pretty much every other type of over the counter pill right before a nap in a small room where no one would find him until many hours later when, if it did go bad, he'd be dead?

Come now, give him more credit than that. He wasn't stupid, it was intentional.

  • @DarkBunnyLord in fact he had a pneumonia,a depression and he couldn't even sleep wasn't the first time that he was taking these pills he was just trying be ok.the pills were prescribed by his doctor he would never think that something like that could happen.and according to his autopsy he didn't take the pills in exaggeration but the combination of just two of them was fatal.

  • @DarkBunnyLord by the way his maid entered in his room almost 3hours of she had found him dead, the pills wouldn't take too long to take effect,so was an accident!!

  • @Bruna941000 Alright man, convince yourself of what you want to convince yourself of. I've never met anyone other than drug addicts or complete retards that would take hand fulls of different types of pills and then take a nap and think that they'd be ok when they woke up. It's a common form of suicide.

  • @DarkBunnyLord yeh yeh! whatever !! But tell me one thing according to his autopsy it was an accident why do you think that you know more than the doctors that made his autopsy?

  • @Bruna941000 Hahaha, an autopsy doesn't tell you intent, only COD. Tell me why you decided to make this up to support your rather weak argument?

  • @DarkBunnyLord exactly ! so you are smart enough to untherstand that, cause is logical, so why do you just don't untherstand that he had no reasons to kill himself ?? depression is not synonymous of suicide what is logical too. and you are always saying that he wasn't stupid he was smart enough to know what he was doing. he had no reasons to do that to himself!! is that clear?

  • @Bruna941000 Did you bother reading my response? You claimed that his Autopsy showed it an accident... no... no it didn't. His autopsy showed he died from drug overdose.

Again, you have no argument that it was anything but intentional. If he took far to much medication, so much that any remotely educated person would realize doing that and then going to sleep on top of it was likely going to wind up in death.

You don't "accidentally" swallow handfulls of pills, is that clear?

  • @DarkBunnyLord yes i read and did you read mine to yours? just forget you just don't untherstand!! but you know what? you are free to think whatever you want like me. so we have different opinions about what happened but you are accusing him of something that you have no sure that happened. just let him rest in peace ok? but anyway you are free to think what you want!

  • @Bruna941000 Yes, I did, you lied. You said his autopsy showed it was an accident when in reality it didn't show any such thing. Then you said "exactly" as if I had agreed with you when it couldn't have been further from the truth.

You claim ignorance of his reasons, that's fine and dandy but you have yet to prove why he would be taking an excessive amount of several medications for any other reason.

Feel free to think he didn't, but I'd rather use common sense.

  • @DarkBunnyLord look forget you didn't untherstand what i wanted when i said that. and again think whatever you want, say whatever you want. i just don't care what you think.so keep saying that he commited suicide cause his fans know that he didn't and nothing that you can say will change that! but saying that, you are disrespect a man that actually is dead! you have no proves of nothing just a opinion and assumptions. so have some respect for this great person please!!

  • @Bruna941000 First off please use proper English, secondly no, it's not disrespecting him, it's taking solid evidence and applying it. You claiming that he was to stupid to realize what that many pills would likely do to his body is disrespecting him.

You choose to remain ignorant and provide no logical counter point beyond "lol I'm a fan so Iz noez".

Grow up, use logic, or shut the hell up.

  • @DarkBunnyLord yeh right ! ele era uma pessoa fantástica e um actor extraordinario. o que os outros dizem não me interessa!

  • @Bruna941000 Good job, not only do you not have a logical stand point but you go off on a tirade of Spanish, which as luck would have it you also have bad grammar in. Good job making yourself look like an angry child that rather than try to back up your claims with this thing we have called proof, you resort to this.

  • @Bruna941000 (cont) For example, if you go into a room and you're certain a person was alone and you find them hanging from the cieling you don't call it an accident because you don't know why they'd do it.

The facts are simple. He was taking far to many pills, more than any sane man would. He was depressed shortly before and having some issues he wouldn't talk about.

    Put two and two together.

  • wonderful, I love

  • superbes images de toi .....tel LE PETIT PRINCE tu es dans ton monde.......merci de nous l' avoir fait partager.....................

  • Heath your acting was more than what you portrayed as your characters. The Joker for instance is indeed your best role yet. You placed your signature down for anarchy, but it was what you had up your sleeve that shown us deep down who you are. RIP buddy, Ill see you In the resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. Love ya bud.

  • Can anybody tell me what this song is????!!!!!!!!

  • @0NEVERHIDE0 its called vorspeil think thats the correct spelling lol

  • @0NEVERHIDE0

I have been trying to find out the name/origin of this music, too. I have tried to contact the poster of the video for more information but had no luck. Does anybody know??

  • @samurai1922 hey i actually found it after a lot of searching

Berliner Philharmoniker & Herbert von Karajan - "Das Rheingold: Vorspiel"

its also in a movie too called "The new world" with Collin Ferrel about the real story of pocahontas and john smith.

  • @0NEVERHIDE0 I looked up vorspiel and found it, too. It's from Richard Wagner's opera "The Ring of the Nibelung" - Akt I, "Das Rheingold".
