because people are stupid. i like this guy. thinking when fighting plus staying calm and balanced at the same time is a big challenge for some fighters who call them selves martial artist. Thats why they will never understand and get their ass beat in a 50% of the time. So of course they wouldn't like this. Take it from a master. I m Zennakai
wing chun means eternal spring time or evolving spring time meaning always evolving so to say the original wing chun is floored mabey some truth? but definatly the best base and if stick with it it covers everything a complete system and you can mix in enything that works
I think your both confusing Buddah with the story of Bodridharma an Indian monk who apparently traveled across the mountains to china where he found the monks there to be too unfit to sit in long hours of meditation so taught them the indian fighting arts which were addapted and eventually became shaolin, or so the storys go... If your looking at the history of martial arts India is a good place to start, i think kalari goes back a fair way back...
I wonder where Buddharama learn his Martial arts Of what i know it came from the middel east He learned the monks to self defend India and someplace in the middel east are the true founders of martial arts of today Not the monks in china If you know more let me know iam learning history of the martial arts When i learn more I let you people know
@shaunic I remembered reading something about buddha being indian. He was a prince borned in the warrior class. Being in a warrior class, he was taught self defense as a child. I forgot the name of the art. Chinese martial arts came from that ancient Indian fighting style. I sure you can probably google on it.
@shaunic I've also read that the indian art traveled down south and influence other fighting arts in Cambodian, Thailand, Laos, and other South East Asia along with Chinese martial arts. I read that Muay thai and Bokator resembles Indian fighting arts more than Chinese.
If you truly understand Wing Chun, you'll realize that there's no such thing as original Wing Chun. It's meant to be adaptable and custom tailored to the individual. As long as the core principles and structure are there, individual techniques don't matter. Master Wong's Wing Chun is as authentic as anyone else's because he understands directness, centerline, facing, etc. Not trying to start and argument, just pointing out something a lot of people, even Wing Chun practitioners, don't understand
i wish i could fight like ip man

the original wing chun has many weaknesses and that is fact.
dramsrle 2 years ago
As does EVERY system when one allows their fighting to be crystallized under one style. And, that is also a fact. :^)
