Fired 5 seekers at a Land Raider Crusader in a game today. Managed to destroy two weapons. I didn't have a Hammerhead nor a Broadside on the table so realized suddenly that the Tau have NOTHING other than rail guns that can deal with Land Raiders. NOTHING. If you're facing one, seeker missiles are nice but you must have rail guns to have any hope of killing it.
(423tk) the video tactic is good but what i do is deep strike a gun drones behind a tank and shoot it to death.
if your facing a leman ruses which has 14 front and 13 side and 10 rear. try to get your pathfinders to light the tank up and then shoot with a hammerhead or broadside.if you need more tactics just write them on our youtube home page
You've almost got just as much chance to run a squad of fire warriors up with emp grenades which hit on a 6 then its 12 rolls averaging 2 hits per turn. Haha
Shouldn't you have got an extra d6 roll with the fusion blasters because they have the melta rule? Melta is the easiest way to take a land raider. I've done this with chaos raptors with meltaguns as well as with fusion blasters.

Broadsides backed up with pathfinders is the only reliable way to take a Landraider out first turn
2nd Turn you want piranha or deepstriking Fusion blaster equipped suits backed up by pathfinder devilfish so you can reroll the deepstike
