  • I'd prefer to call it a dark comedy. When you say "black comedy" I think of stuff like "The Fresh Prince of Bell Air" or "Barbershop" or "Next Friday."

  • @LikaLaruku yeah agreed I was confused at first but it was explained to me but yeah it should be called dark not black cause it is confusing

  • @LikaLaruku me too almost. When I hear black comedy I'm thinking Black comedians. Like Hispanic Kings Of Comedy.

  • TY~

  • Thank you so much for this! I haven't heard this since I watched the movie when I was a kid! I wish I could get a high quality mp3 of this but being able to listen to it in it's entirety is better than nothing at all.

  • I loved this movie and this song. Seeing John Ritter dressed like Prince, I think it was or he was dressed like SNP, I can't remember, but it was funny as hell.

  • Back Comedy and Dark comedy are the same thing,

films like Friday, house party etc etc, is just comedy with black people in it.

now we have you have clarity

  • I loved this song when i was a kid...I JUST LOVE THIS FILM !!!

  • this song takes me wayyyyyy back lol this right here is still the JAM;-) Love SNP

  • no. Dark comedy means dark nature black comedy is friday, soul plain even parts of soul food. roll bounce the list goes on.

  • black comedy means that the comedy is of a dark nature

  • @moviesoundtracks1 Actually that would be what is referred to as a dark comedy. A black comedy would be something like Friday.

  • Yeah, what MS1 said. The term was created in the 1930's to describe certain kinds of surreal, cynical, and skeptical comedy. Usually they're about death, people being manipulated, and mean people in high school. The most famous black comedy is Dr. Strangelove (1964). Another great example is Heathers (1989), where the girl who hates everyone in her school saves their lives by killing her high school crush- a guy who was planning on killing them. Then, most horror comedies are black comedies.

  • oh my god are you retarded lmao @kusanagikun

  • @kusanagikun You're an idiot.

  • @kusanagikun Idiot. It's a black comedy, also known as dark comedy.
