I Just remember that at least here i Live, a judge allways blew off the fight at once someone took off their helmet or gloves.. Security and all shit pulling them from eachother.. Is it different rules in the NHL?

I have a dream... hockey with no dirty hits. Get rid of that, AND THEN, only then, get rid of fights. Finally, hockey with faster and more skilled players with the puck will play... More excitement. I am tired to spend 200$ for a hockey night and see only 2-3 goals (from both teams) in the game. No violence, more speed & more goals. That is the hockey i dream about.
@aegisknox wat r u talking about? it costs from 30-100 for tickets and i am going to a game 7 game tonite for 130, plus a combined 2 or 3 goals in a game, like 10 teams in the NHL averaged over 3 goals themselves and the average goals per game is over 5, know wat u r talking about before u say anything

Because less fights, more disciplin and more speed. No violence in hockey means more excitement, simply because more speed & more goals. Violence in hockey means there is less room for small & fast players. NHL makes more room for big, tough and slow players. I don't mind good hits, but fights ? GTFO...
