I think you just mixed up word: "training" isn't the same as "equiping". Training is about teaching ppl how to react according to a situation. And believe me russian instructors are combat-proven and know how things work. They mission wasn't to equip the iraqi forces with all that fancy stuff you just mentioned. War is not all about "dressing" or "high-tech" - its about skill. And this is a thing you can't buy with a buck.
What happend to the support, desire, and loyalty to this country? If you got a problem with the war and want the troops to come home then join the effort, other than that stop the bitching. The troops had almost no motivation. They surrendered by the thousands and most didn't believe in the war. The Republican Guard were the "elite" units. We kicked their asses.And they're not on their way up. Its more like a gentle slope. Hopefully they'll be able to maintain stability

I agree with you man. I served in the Coast Guard and I feel so bad for those guys over in Iraq. I had to drive a shipmate to Walter Reed hospital in D.C and I saw horrible things there. These kids are missing limbs because of a bullshit war. Fuck the U.S government there should be a revolution.

The troops had almost no motivation. They surrendered by the thousands and most didn't believe in the war. The Republican Guard were the "elite" units. We kicked their asses.And they're not on their way up. Its more like a gentle slope. Hopefully they'll be able to maintain stability

The US was afraid that the Iraqis would push into Saudi Arabia before teh American traitors could amass forces there, but they didn't. And they didn't fight because they didn't like Hussein (except maybe the Shi'a fanatics), but because they just finished an 8-year war with Iran, that despite defeating Iran and conquering half the country before teh UN forced status quo, they got nothing.

The bombing was not indiscriminate, we only attacked military targets. Their military most certainly did fight. After all,they did invade Kuwait and eventually did attack Saudi Arabia. We did support them in their war with Iran, but they are the ones to betray us by attacking our supplies of oil. How did we fail in our invasion of Iraq?

Iraq's tanks were an assortment of T-55 and T-72, many of which were cheap knockoffs not actually made by Soviet Union, which had no computer controlled targeting systems, no nightvision, no reactive armor, and no air reconnaissance support.

I don't think you have a good grasp on economics, history, politics, etc. The Middle East is where 40 percent of the WORLDS oil comes from. Saddam attacked two oil producing nations inside of a decade. The US imposed sanctions on Iraq last 12 years and he continued to fight them. He needed to be removed period. Just like in Panama. Panama closed down the Panama canal to trade ships and the US went in and removed their leader.

yeah and with all those women and children that you talk about, you tend to forget that an EXTREMELY large amount of those deaths come from insurgent bombs, and insurgent attacks because they deliberately target civilians and they hide with civilians like pussies.. i'm not saying we haven't hit civilians but that is by accident unlike the insurgents who hide among them and target them in suicide bombings

Yes, it's mistakes, but now they hate you guys, and that part of the world would have been less hostile towards you guys if you hadn't gone in there in the first place.
Actually, no, if you guys had gone in there with the intentions of JUST killing Sadam, and then helping the country out, with aid and stimulus, then they would have LOVED you guys, and it would have been less costly than war.
