  • ISnt hes JAck Black? :D

  • Bahaha, he sounds like Jack Black.

  • To the tune of Rupert Giles. :D

  • ok, you took the audio from a BUFFY the vampire slayer episode, not the who. just sayin. this is Giles singing.

  • Tony Head is the best!!!

  • awww thought Hugh Laurie did actually sing this song.

  • c'est vraiment hugh laurie qui chante derriere ? :-O

  • nice!

so bad ass and true for house.

  • I LOVE that you used Anthony Head singing in a Hugh Laurie clip! Two of my favorite men!!!!!! :)

  • Best version of this song!! Love Anthony Stewart Head!!! Thanx for combining to brilliant actors/singers in one vid!!

  • May I also have a copy of "Peter's Friends"?

  • i love doctor house,

  • Even with the voice over, this version of the song is a better choice than some others

  • Haha

    Totally cool!!! Congrats! :)

  • Love the fact you put Anthony Stewart Head's version!!!

You put two of my favorite brits in the same vid!

  • 1:07

  • I have a techno version of this song, thats where i heard, i loved it.

  • great guy

  • Love Anthony Stewart Head Free Bird well worth a look if you like his voice :)

  • he izzz sexy

  • What did ASH sing this for? As in what movie? I am dying to know! Thankyou!

  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 4 episode "Where the Wild Things Are". It was open mic night at the Espresso pump

  • Thanks a lot my friend!

  • Comment removed

  • Much better than Limp Bizkit.

  • The Who Kicks way more butt than this.

  • ...wth? This song was much better before all the covers came out. =/

  • nice tongue, Hugh!

  • WOOOW. I love Anthony Heads voice, just awesome!

  • wow i didn't realise anthony stewart head could sing!! i just remember him from the old buffy the vamprie slayer and of course Little britain!

  • this is epic!

  • Holy shit! I DIED AT 1:09 when his tounge comes in and out! :O <3333

  • A great cover of a great song!

Someone may have mentioned this, but the voice overs sort of make sense, like on the part where Hugh is singing at the piano, Willow says something about knowing why she had such a crush on him and then she says "it is kinda sexy" right after he sticks his tounge out, etc. Somehow a lot of the talking fits, even if it wasn't intentional :)

  • Now I know why I had suche a crush on him in High School!!!!

  • oh, dam... i don't know... i could say that i loved every song with A.S.H. singing... Legal Assassin is awsome, that Tool kindda power and sweet interludes: i am living out a lieeee!!! "assassin, monster"... Night surgeon is cool too, a culmination of the events in the story, Paul Sorvino has a real cool voice too (song: "Gold")... "21th century cure" i like, it's a weird sung out song by Terrance Zdunich, but it's cool... most songs in the movie i liked... take care, bye

  • Hugh Laurie+BehindBlueEyes is a good combo but bad remake and not a good cut to the video.

  • wow.

    That cover was terrible.

  • wow nice idea but this cover is god awful and the montage of house dosnt really work. and the buffy vouices and kinda the shit ontop of the ice cream.

  • Actually I always thought Anthony Head did a great job! Remember that the sound the creator of this vid used, was taken from an episode of Buffy, where his character, Giles, was singing at a Coffee Shop. He never did, to me knowledge, a real cover of this song. Damn shame too, he should do that one of these days.

  • God, yes you're right! I hadn't connected it. That is a great Buffy moment - Thank you :)

  • Anthont Stewart Head has a great voice, you should watch REPO, THE GENETIC OPERA, he sings like a badass punk-metal singer... take care

  • I want too! I just haven't found a place that has it yet.

  • i have that movie, it's a nice piece of cinema, i liked it very much... i'll see if i can put some videos up, so everyone can watch Anthony at work (singing)... take care

  • Oh God I LOVE his cover! I prefer it, and most times like most people I think covers are worse..

  • Roger Daltrey's voice is sexier.

  • whats with the voices from buffy the vampire slayer

  • Hugh Laurie does have the bluest eyes I've ever seen!

  • Coin toss between him and Daniel Craig.

  • You should watch 'Peter's Friends'. Hugh, Fry and Thompsons are brilliant!

  • I have done, it's one of my favourite films, it's ace =D

  • They're great.

  • good lord. anthony stewart head's voice is freakin sexy.

  • oooooohhh yesss!!!!!!

  • Can I have a copy too please?

  • yeup sure just send me your email and I shall send it :)

  • @Tangoratsfan could i have a copy?

  • i love anthony stewart head sooooo much! is there an mp3 of this song? hes one of my heros

  • it used to be on his fansite [ashead] but I think they took it down, worth a check but I can probably send it you if you want it =]

  • @Tangoratsfan I seriously love this song. I love Anthony Stewart Head's singing voice. Could you please send me an mp3 of this song?

  • I like that you used the Anthony Stewart Head version for this, though I think if there was a way to cut the costar comments it would have been better.

  • Roger Daltrey sing better

  • that is not the original.. this is anthony stewart head! love him..

and..is that on the bg Buffy?

anyway.. the song is perfect for him! thanks

  • What's wrong with the original by The Who?

  • The song really fits to Hugh. His amazing blue eyes are realy nice. In his character as House, it's even better. In real, he's like sad, he feels miserable. Nice song!

  • I've always wondered if anyone would use this song for a House vid because it's perfect for this character.

  • voices are not serious ! it's good !

  • the reason you can hear Buffy comments in the background is because the song was ripped straight from an episode...

  • This song fits House so well...

and props for not using the limp bizkit version...

    <3

  • isn't that Anthony Head singing? it sounds like him and with all the Buffy commentary it seems kinda appropriate

  • Its not form buffy its from Rocky Horor Picture Show if im not mistaken

  • you are mistaken, it is from Buffy, he's singing in the coffee house I think

  • yeah, it's from Buffy, the episode's Where The Wild Things Are.

    not that i'm obsessed.

  • It's from the last episode of Season 4 Buffy. It's the episode with the crazy cheese man. Ha ha.

  • na not from that ep, its 'where the wild things are', not 'restless', though there is a song in the latter which is hilarious!

  • love that song loved to hear by him more than the scooby gang for you slayer fans :)

  • gahh. Hugh Laurie and Anthony Steward Head combined. HEAVEN. :D

  • it has buffy the vampire slayer commentary because he sings this song in an episode and he didnt record this or anything

  • I love this song. I think that Anthony sung it really well. It goes good with the video. I live Hugh Laurie. House is a really good series! I loved it!

  • very funny with that commentary

  • The video is way good... but I don't understand why it has 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' commentary....? Seems kind of out of place.

  • Could have whacked The Who's version over the visuals, that's not elevator music. Otherwise great vid

  • esta version es una mierda putos maricones, LA VERSION DE THE WHO JODER

  • would have been good without the lame assed talking ruining the mood

  • Mhm... his super-blue eyes... aaach <3

  • Oh Hugh, are you sad?=( my babe!!=( come to mommy!!!

  • Hugh has blue eyes. I think that's why this song was used.

  • Anyone who has not purchased Tony heads Music for elavators now knows why they should.

But wth does this have o do with hugh Laurie? or HOuse md?

  • Definitely, it's ace

Well the clips are of Hugh Laurie in House md, plus he has very nice blues eyes, self explanatory I thought

  • Cute! Also, that episode of Buffy is one of my favorites.

  • tar =] me too, it's suitably odd lol

  • TRUE!

  • Uh, except this is anthony Head singing, NOT Hugh.

  • I know, that's why it says so in the description

  • I love Anthony Stewart Head's rendition of the song. The video would totally work if they had let him release this song on a cd.

  • that is stewart anthony head. giles from buffy the vasmpire slayer the song rocks

  • that song remember me my father, he´s the only one in the family with blue eyes, like heaven, i have honey eyes

  • that song is great. It make me think on my self. All though i have green eyes

  • you...

  • omg

combination of Hugh Laurie and Anthony Stewart Head

could it be more perfect ?

    yes with johnny depp

but that's not the point i love this!

  • I loved that ep of A Bit of Fry and Laurie, with Phyllida Law (Emma Thompson's mum)

  • yeah she's so funny and lovely ^_^

  • I think this version Anthony sings is pretty cool, he's got a fab voice. I can't stand it when people make covers of songs which sound just like the original.

    Great stuff!

  • wow the songwas taken completely out of its context and turned into something terrible, in the episode of buffy where giles sings behind blue eyes, its actually one of the funniest things giles ever did or said on that show. But when set to house its just pointless.

  • Yes, in context, the song was hilarious, but it was still awesome. That Giles could sing like that was a pleasant surprise to many people, myself included.

Why can't something be simultaneously hilarious and poignant.

  • I totally agree, this video seems to have a serious tone to it and to have voices from buffy in the background just seems stupid. they should have left the song on buffy where it was beautiful and it fit. it does not go with this video at all.

  • That song Ruins It why isn't It the Who !!!!

    Ben

  • its from buffy 4x18 'Where the wild things are'

  • hey do you know which buffy episode the audio track is from?

  • is that jack black singing?

  • Hmmmm..... It's not like the description says who is singing it. But you are doing what you can with an eighty IQ, and I congratulate you.

  • actually it's 138, close, and i wrote it halfway through the video because i couldn't bear to listen to all of this shitty rendition.

  • Most definitely, it is.

  • No, blacktarn, it's Tony Head--read the description.

  • LOL Video of my favorite show combined with audio clip from my previous favorite(Buffy). Also cute that the video and audio feature 2 Brits(Hugh Laurie & Anthony Stewart Head)

  • hehe lol xD two great shows (Y)

  • I like thiis work! Good done, Tangorats!

  • thanks very much =]

  • Mmm, a better version than The Who. Excellent xx

  • the song sounds so wrong when not sung by The Who

  • I knew straight away this was ASH. This version is so damn good, he should have put this on one of his albums. Check out him and Tara's (can't remember her real name) version of We Can Work It Out

  • that version is brilliant, and it's amber benson lol =]

  • where can i find that?

  • OMG. love this version...anthony is a really good singer...do anybody know, where i can get this song?

  • haha! i heard the first word, and i knew that it was giles! this was my favorite clip in the entire forth season

  • go giles

  • tony head > the who

  • People shut up, its not like he recorded this to release on an album or something, it was used when ASH was singing in a coffee shop on buffy.

  • I love the commentary by the Buffy cast.

  • this is a good song, just admit it, you know your jelouss

  • I think this is brilliant, thankyou for piecing it all together. :-)

  • thankyou =] nice to have someone not just complaining about the song

  • I adore AMH

  • oh fuck the singer. The original should be LEFT ALONE! BE ORIGINAL! Write your own shit. As for Hugh Laurie, he is a genius! Put him in comedy or drama, american or british. He is pure talent. Kind of like Pete Townshend, you know the original writer of the song.

  • actually the point of this song in its original context was a sort of open mike thing at a coffee house in btvs, it had to b a known song

  • I adore ASH-- and I love his voice- for those who don't know this is a track from Buffy the vampire slayer- it was not made for this clip.. duh

  • This cover is really bad.

  • "Who ever made a cover of this songn they suck"

Pay no attention to the misspeller behind the curtain.

  • =] thanks, I wish ppl wouldn't comment just to be abusive

  • Who ever made a cover of this songn they suck

  • You don't know good music...

  • Yeah, if your ears are broken.

  • i love house and i love buffy, perfect crossover

  • I've done a House m.d. video with the orginal xD

  • This is just the cover.. The whos is much better really! So..

  • personal hero

  • ...Sorry but I still haven't heard a version of this song that can contend with the original. In fact, I was offended when I heard it played by Limp Bizkit...

  • You're absolutewly right. Pearl Jam covered 'Love, Reign O'er Me' for the new Sandler film, Reign On Me - and they absolutely BUTCHERED it! Only The Who can do justice to these songs. Long live The Who!

  • was it really that difficult to find a copy of "behind blue eyes" that you had to have that annoying talking over the song?

  • A Version from Anthony Stewart Head? Yes, it is difficult.

  • good job, hugh laurie will still be talked about long after he's gone. he's an awesome actor..and my personal hero. :]

  • thanks very mcuh mate

  • Wow... ASH's voice is fantastic! I had no idea! (I've only seen s1 of Buffy.)

  • yeah its gr8-his album is really good

hes gr8 in the musical ep of buffy!

  • Song is perfect. I love Giles and House.

  • thnx-i'm not a buffy fan but i luv anthony heads music

  • xDD nice buffy dialouge.

  • thnx

  • I love it. It combines my two favorite men. Anthony Stewart Head and the ever Sexy Hugh Laurie

  • my thoughts exactly-glad you liked it

  • this version of Behind Blue Eyes is strange...

Though it's very appropriate for this vid.

  • yeah its wierd but i couldnt get a free wma download of the who version
