  • Another good one is Madison County, Fl. It ain't about the X's and the O's; it's about the Johnnies and the Joes.

  • If you do NOT think the Wing T will work; look up Camden County, Ga HS and Lowndes County, Ga HS on You Tube. While you are at it, look up The Bolles School out of Jacksonville, Fl. Also try looking up Sweetwater, Al and Thomasville, Al.

  • needs to be quicker

  • We have to run this at my high school.

  • wingedt, I'm very intriged by 31 opposite. Can you give the blocking rules? Thanks!

  • @80coach1999 Did he get back to you? I think that it's Power, but with the guards running waggle.

    ie: PST, TE, WB: Gap/Down/Backer

    PSG: Pull, lead

    Center: Man on/away

    BSG: Log

    QB: Waggle

    FB: Kick out

HB: get ball, go off FB block.

    SE: Post corner

    BST: 2nd level

  • @firmcore BST: fill for guard

  • I agree.

  • more high schools should run wing T. most are confused by it because of the misdirection, and most people run some sort of Pro

    1) you don't need 4.4 backfield speed

    2) your biggest and strongest lineman is your center

    3) guards take you to the football. they're always quick and tough dudes.

    4) it's all about timing.

    5) teams who run it well have 6 plays...trap, lead, iso, counter, dive sweep, waggle

  • my coach ran wing T for a long time and we went 0-10 this year. mainly because the players, but partly because all we do is run run run run and run a lil more. not hard to beat wing T at that point

  • @dajonmccray Yeah. At my old school. we called it the 'slot-t' offense, had a fullback and halfback run it up the middle all night, and a tailback to occasionally run to the outside. We had 2 tight ends, one called a 'swing-man', and we would throw maybe 5 passes a game and they'd all go for TDs because they'd stack the box haha.

  • @ChrisJohnson2K are you from texas?

  • @paketterman Yeah, haha.

  • the wing t is an amazing O for high school footbal i play for edgewood here in trenton ohio and we had 4442 total yards in the 2008 season

  • Woah. Did you guys win state that year?

  • actually we got beat in the play-offs 1st round 55-7 our d wasnt up to par..and our head coach play calling was crap. that was my junior and this year my senior year we went 4-6..the wing t will only work out of a pistol or if you dont pull your guards against a defense who is fast and knows the wing t..but if you are up against a d that is slow and dumb its gonna be a shows for your offense

  • Hey, at least you have gotten to the playoffs. Even though you didn't win state, you still have to be happy to get over 4,000 yards rushing in 1 year. That's ridiculous.

  • it was a pretty eventful season to say the least

  • I would agree to that.

  • i had fun thats really all highschool football is about unless your in the 10% that moves on to the next level

  • Horndog829, fast? maybe, not the fastest in their region but pretty dang fast

  • Im going to try this offense with a pop warner team that may not be as athletic as some teams however I believe in this style of offense and hope it works for us I will let the world know how the season goes.

  • Nice style of offense. This style of offense helped iowa win the 1959 rose bowl.

  • The Backs do a great job using the field in these cuts. Nice job.

  • i dont know if the video should be called great offensive techniques or IMPROPER TACKLING TECHNIQUES

    probably both

  • i'm more of a fan of pro style myself. I feel that being deceptive is not as heartbreaking as just getting plain ran over. ill admit, when ran right wing-t can do wonders. however, you need some very athletic players to pull it off.

  • You would probably need more athletic players to pull off a more conventional offense like a pro style.Since the wing-t is based on deception and fakes it is suppose to disquise a lack of athleticism. When you have a fast athletic team its deadly. its fun to watch and i dont even know why i looked this up.

  • this has to be the fastest overall team i have ever seen...from the o line to all the backs, even the QB. i bet the receiver is good too. my team runs the wing T, but definitely not as effectively as these guys. how old is this footage? and are these guys playing at college?

  • Probably the most underrated offense I can think of. I'm surprised more teams don't run it in high school.

  • this team is prime example of why wing t works with the right guys....speed...plain and simple speed speed is the key to wing t....i do not think any team runs the wing t better then bellevue high school of bellevue washington check out there highlight on youtube

  • im not a fan of the wing t but this team is well coached and the offensive line is the key to this offense. they are great as a unit. they finish blocks off. great for the backs. great job coach!!!!

  • I have no athletic abilty? Didn't your team go 1-9?

  • i have to agree with my friend tatertots there. i qb'ed 3 different offensives in high school (I backs, spread single back, and wing t) wing t worked the best. when run right, its the more deceptive stuff ever. wint t and other offensives similar to it are the O.G's of football. can't argue with the grand dad's and god's of football.

  • that OL is beast

  • your team sucks, the wing t is maybe the most unstopable offense ever.

  • I love that 2 TE unbalanced line set. I was wondering if anyone incorporated that into the Wing-T anymore. Very cool.

  • wow amazing stuff, wish a coach take the wing T to a BCS school and prove to everybody that it can still work
