@Raydensheraj Thank you for not being like the junkie/addicts (I'm a recovering alcoholic, so I get it) I can only walk somedays thanks to my Opana ER & Opana's. I'm so, so grateful. I hope these kids don't need these meds someday, because they WONT WORK. I suffer from a rare form of MD called Central Core Disease, arthritis, rheumetory arthritis & an unknown condition my bones are deterating. I hope they don't need it one day - or don't die from it. It's as dangerous as HEROIN!
Is the Opana 40mg extended release as potent as Oxycontin 80mg and also does it contain that tamper proof sticky polymer like the new Oxycontins do.My pain management doctor wants to put me on Opana extended release.I know that it needs a dam authorization code to be covered from my insurance because it's not on their list of drug formularys and the dam medication costs like 740 dollars just for 60 tablets.
@halucijason wait wait wait, you pay or get payed that much for 10?! haha i live in upstate NY and its usually a dollar a milli unless its a dope head then its as high as 80 for a 40
this dude snorts a half an opana................ooooooo pussy i sniffed 5 in an hour and then went out drinking so dont be a bitch if your gonna be an addict man the fuck up. and then go to detox because opana fucks you up
@bacardi151juice thats the kinda talk that dumbfucks that think they have a high tolerence dissing people having to take less......in the end you will end up dead seen it way too many times
@phuckingemailmehere right i usually do three or four 4s a day along with couple 3s all my money goes to em haha its way addicting cant function no energy with out em and 1 or 2 doesnt do a damn thing anymore
If you're a chronic pain sufferer use Opana as a last resort. I was on Opana for nearly a year and I developed a tolerance for it very quickly which required a higher and higher dosage. At then end I was taking 120mg a day and due to financial reasons (I could no longer afford it), I had to stop taking it. The withdrawal from this drug is absolute hell. Don't get me wrong, it WORKS, and it works WELL. Just be forewarned, this stuff is VERY addictive.
Oxymorphone ( aka "Numorphan" ; "Blue Endos") was taken off the market in the early 1970's because it was abused by people injecting liquified tablets. It was brought back as "Opana" in 2006. Methadone has a long half-life. I dont' know the half life of oxymorphone. I have chronic pain. The only effective way to manage it now is with narcotic analgesics. I never tried Opana, but I would like to see if it works better. Demerol works, but its metabolites are toxic, so I have to try something else.
@DGK4life98 It's because he is using it IV. The bio-availability (i.e. absorption rate for a layman like you) is 90-100% when used IV compared to only 30-40% when snorted. Also an 80mg OC snorted is equivalent to 4mg opana IV. Don't worry you'll get to shooting it soon enough.
First they destroy the original OC and now they want to take out opana.
Im scripted meds and I was taking oc 40s, when I heard they would change the formula. On my next appointment I told my dr to switch me to the opana 40s.
I'm SO glad I found this!! I've been asking doctors to explain this new drug, "Opana" ( MY M.D. says she's never even heard of it). I suffer from constant migraine headaches, and the only thing that makes my life bearable are narcotics like these, I see my doctor tomorrow, and I'm going to show her this video. THANKS!
@1lricardo if your MD doesnt even know what Opana/Oxymorphone is, its doubtful she will write you a script for it. Especially considering that there are other opioids that are as strong & effective. 90% chance she will RX you an opioid pain medication that she is more familiar with, and that she has more knowledge of the therapeutic benefits vs. risks. Its RARE that a single entity opioid medication is RX'd for headaches. Your more likely to get a Hydrocodone or oxycodone combo product.
@phuckingemailmehere- I Never said that their was a semi synthetic stronger than oxymorphone. Hydromorphone is close in terms of potency, especially when administered IV. And Oxycodone, though significantly weaker, is a prodrug for oxymorphone, considering that oxycodone is converted in vitro to Noroxycodone and Oxymorphone. And lets face it, the dude who has headaches; oxycodone is more likely to be RXd than oxymorphone. thats all i said.
Lower the music I can barely hear you, and try to stop swallowing for 5 seconds at the end of each sentence. Oxymorphone is different compared to other opiates you mentioned. Teach us more about bioavailability differences between each opiate, ie. Oral use of opana yields barely 10% of the drug after the first bypass in the liver whereas Oxycodone is around 40%. Teach us about half-lifes of each opiate that would help out. Not just opiates are strong." Morphine shouldnt be put next to Opana.
