As a huge Ella fan, I love to hear a recording I've never hear before. Of course, with her recording history, that's gonna keep happening for a long time. There's a reason why she was the "first lady of song" and not simply the "first lady of jazz". What a consumate musician!

As for Amy Winehouse and Adele (see below), they are really a kind of pop/jazz/blues fusion (or something like that). Winehouse was a great talent. RIP. Adele is an amazing singer. There is still good music out there!

@spn1007 Yep she recorded over 200 albums, so there's a heck of a lot to get through. You could listen to a different Ella recording every day for the rest of your life. There are countless Ella masterpieces that have never been uploaded on youtube. I've built up a large collection but I've still got a lot more to add to my collection. Its best to listen to the original vinyl.
