That voice can send chills down one's spine, and make them shiver...That's how I felt when I first heard Asagi sing. I didn't think anyone ever sang like this or could be soulful, passionate, and charismatic. Asagi is a truly blessed man. =) The rest of the band are incredible. Words can't describe this band. They're destined to be greats. =)

I'm aware that Dir En Grey were Visual Kei you moron. I prefer their older stuff to their newer stuff but even then I'd still listen to better bands than VK if I had a choice between Japanese metal or metal from the rest of the world.
Japan has some of the word metal ever, it's all ladyboy's and faggoty images. The occasional songs are good and I do like the language so that's a plus point, but there's no way Japan will ever have better metal than Europe, Korea and Taiwan.

If you're trying to make a point that it's something I've never heard before then you're wrong. Most Jrock and VK + sub genres (Anguro Kei etc) have all been done before, they all get their influences from somewhere. They are mainly based on their images but I can't deny that some band members are talented, Asagi has a pretty unique voice and he can hit notes most people can't it's just a shame that he ruins it with the annoying VK voice worble.

The compound used only has one meaning, they could have used another such as 永遠 (eien/towa, very common) that has connotations of perpetuity, permanence, or even immortality,... so you can figure exactly what they wanted to express with it.

There's thousands of better guitarists in the world, there's hundreds in Japan alone. I don't think that there's any real talented guitarists in any J-cock or Visual Gay bands but then VK wasn't created for it's talent, it was created for it's image? Stupid huh? Stupid teen trendy music.
That's why on most of these Jrock or VK videos the fans are more concerned with the bands looks than the actual music.

If you're trying to make a point that it's something I've never heard before then you're wrong. Most Jrock and VK + sub genres (Anguro Kei etc) have all been done before, they all get their influences from somewhere. They are mainly based on their images but I can't deny that some band members are talented, Asagi has a pretty unique voice and he can hit notes most people can't it's just a shame that he ruins it with the annoying VK voice worble.

What I mean is yeah only a true idiot would claim that all of the music is bad. I might have appreciated the image a bit more if I wasn't more into black metal imagery which in comparison makes VK look kind of gay to me and I'm not a scene kid type of person. I do understand the appeal though.
I could tolerate VK much more back in the day with the innovators of the genre, nowadays there's 500 The GazettE and Dir en Grey rip-offs.

久遠 (kuon) means "eternity", I think that's "eternity" in a very deep sense. The compound used only has one meaning, they could have used another such as 永遠 (eien/towa, very common) that has connotations of perpetuity, permanence, or even immortality,... so you can figure exactly what they wanted to express with it.
btw, this is one of my favorites songs! I love it, I can't get tired of listening to it

I totally agree. I love D but when I heard this song, I cried. It was so beautiful. Without visuals its beautiful, but this video totally adds the final touch. Something so simple, as a never ending desert...silhouettes... its beautiful
