Taking pride for using as much money as one can raise remains such an outrageous attitude for me: so, we know the US constitute the best democracy one can buy but are people really happy about that?? Shouldn't there be limits and instead, make candidate engage in real and more frequent debate rather tahn parties bombarding us with inflammatory commercials? Or are politicians have become too chicken to follow a right path?
These party hacks must go. The whole fundraising infrastructure is corrupt. The system is driven by lobbyists and money, and breeds career politicians and idealogues.
Republicans have a long way to go to regain the Senate in 2010. They have to pick up 10 seats since the Vice President is a Democrat which mean they'll probably have to run the table on all competitive Democratic Seats as well as pull off some surprises & they can't afford to drop any Republican Seats which could be difficult. Since it looks like Kentucky, Florida, Missouri & Ohio are all in play which are all Republican Seats.
