Phil told the audience at a concert in Brandon, FL, on Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, that he will be singing this song at a New Orleans Saints halftime game with the Navy Band.:-D. Although he has a version on his "Into the Light" with jsut the piano, he said that a version arranged by his friend and writing partner, Larry Kusic, will be the one he will perfom at that halftime game. I believe this version to be the one he was referring to. I am sure it will be awesome as always!

It's one of the best partriotic songs since "God Bless the USA" and "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly". It touches the hearts of all who hear it. God bless our troops and their families. Well I got to see Phil tonight at my si's Church. He was fantastic! And he LOVES his country. Can ya blame him? He is Navel reserve at the present but was full fledge Navy not long ago. I heard this song for the first time this Saturday night at a Phil Stacey/Kelly Pickler concert and thought it was absolutely great. I got to meet him after the concert when he was signing autographs, and my friend Michael and I both go to sing for and with him and it was really cool. He is a really nice and down to earth kind of guy. He is pretty funny too. And if anyone cares what song we sang it was "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder :)
