I just found one in a small store today for sell really cheap!! I got it cause it brings old memories of my childhood :) I also recorded a video of it to show that it's almost new! I'm happy :)

With the use of some parts from a guitar hero controller and a lot of duct tape I managed to turn one of these into a keytar.

I'm afraid Unchain is right. This is purely a digital toy keyboard... because it has mini sized keys for children and is essentially nothing more than a tonebank of FM presets.

This is not a true synthesizer because you cannot modify any of the presets. The sounds themselves were created on the DX-7 synthesizer from 1983 and the first PSS model to incorporate a synthesizer was the PSS-380, which used 7 basic granular sliders to adjust the FM parameters.

The 99 presets on this keyboard are stored in a memory bank and are reproduced using only part of the FM synthesis chipset of the DX range.

yeah? thats a synthesizer. Just cause its not as advanced as an expensive Korg or Moog, doesn't change the fact that this is a musical instrument that electronically synthesizes sounds.
