Yes, he's flirting with her (all male talk show hosts do it) but I wouldn't really say he's "coming onto her" or anything. It's part of his schtick to act like he's all smitten with her when he doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell. He does it with all the female guests, but he does it even more with Nicole because it works especially well with her shy, easily embarrased personality.
