@nevershoutkatie123 When he was diagnosed the consultant just said severe Autism.However as time as passed we now know that it is such a broad spectrum that you just have to take everyday at a time.Anything is possible he has come such a long way since his diagnosis.He is still very different to other children his age but he is a real character.He doesnt stop talking now and i remember thinking he would never call me mum.It is a very unpredictable journey,but fascinating too.

You have a beautiful child. Why embrace his disorder in this way? Does this help you deal with some kind of repressed reluctance? This video isn't for your son.. He certainly isn't on youtube watching this...think about how he'll feel one day knowing his mom used to post videos on the internet saying, look at my autistic son...

You dont need to make youtube videos for him...just raise him right.please.

He should be Your Beautiful, BABY boy...and thats it....don't limit him by labeling him.

My son is 4 and has mild autism, he walks on his toes sometimes and likes to walk in circles too, amongst others things.

Some children walk on their toes when they are little. Autistic children have a variety of other factors aswell as toe walking.If you are at all concerned speak to your health visitor.

hi there,i love your video and some people dont know anything about autism and before making harsh comments,they should get their facts straight(Kingcobrasaurus).I have an autistic son to and am pround of him and have shared our boy on youtube.She never said her son was more important than any other child,so i really think should pull your head in.We like to share our stories with other families that are going through the same as us and you dont know what its like,so please dont judge.

Some humans walk on their toes because the muscles in their toes are too tight.

Your child is no better and no worse than any other child in the world, so don't act like he's so special and upper-class.

you clearly know very little about autism.he walks on his toes because he is neuroloically different and his brain tells him thats the way he should walk,his muscles are all perfectly formed.I am simply a mother who is proud of her son as any mother would be with or without a disability.His walking is a small part of his difficulties you make it sound so simple.Autism is a disorder of the brain and is very complex.The videos are simply a way of sharing experiences with others,mine being positive

Hey your son is nice...autism? I dont buy that designation, he's a child. Check out books by John Holt, grandfather of home education, and the moore foundation.

I believe in past(and future) lives. Your child exhibits, perhaps, traits from a past life. If he's always on his toes...and spinning/dancing see if he's attracted to classical BALLET music, or show him some..see if he's attracted. Its rare that some people carry their attachments through. Worth a try, hope this doesn't offend.

Hi,Thankyou for your opinion and there is nothing wrong with looking at things in a different way,but he walks on his toes due to severe sensory impairment and spinning amongst other things is also due to his senses being wired differently.Yes he is just a child but he is a child with significant lack of understanding of language he is unable to respond to simple questions and he is very inflexable with how he plays and how his whole routine is handled.Autism is a very complex condition.

thankyou:)its funny how alot of children on the spectrum love to push things at eye level its seems to be a common trait that they share. Charlie gets alot of pleasure from it he really concentrates on the parts of the car:)

Billy elliot has nothing on him! He doesnt let it stop him,as you can see. He tried to keep walking out to sea! its only because i grabbed him that he stopped.

He has absolutely no fear at all.
