The tension between Kaelyn and her father is not a very interesting scenaristic element in my opinion, as it appears (and is later resolved) much too quickly.
I think the Wraithslayer enchantment is actually quite permanent, but that doesn't matter much since you don't fight wraithes after this Chapter.
