  • is glue required

    ?

  • Comment removed

  • that will take me till christmas

  • this thing is stupid just wasted 10000 pieces of paper

  • I find it unfortunate which you to it not in-little something explain and everything so fast lets go through. There nevertheless nobody comes along correctly. The ball is beautiful, but by the fast operational sequence and usually indistinct pictures of the video the whole is inconspicuous.

  • not oragami sure fucks

  • That's really nicely done... I'm not a big fan of the colors but still, it came out beautifully. I'm going to try and to this with 2 color schemes, 1 will be red and white, and the other will be red and black. Can you answer me this please: What paper do you use? Regular photocopy paper? Cardstock? Or some other kind of paper? I don't want to use really flimsy paper when I make it so it would really help if you could answer me that.. Thank you! :D

  • @Emxicey1 I used colored printer paper. When it comes to black- you can use construction paper.

Make sure you get a high quality black construction paper.(I ALWAYS use the brand "tru-ray" it never fades and is deep black.)

  • @sinnersgrin WOW, Thank you for being very specific, I really appreciate that. I really needed someones advice on the kind of paper as well, and you already answered that too! Thank you again, you're very helpful. :)

  • Hallo, das ist echt toll, es faziniert schon beim hinsehen, Danke dafür. Ich mag das Gebastelte von dir. Mach weiter so!!!

    Dufte Grüße aus Deutschland

  • Can I use origami paper for this?????????

  • @ROCKSTAR1fantage I wouldn't recommend it. The ball would probably be very fragile after its finished bc the papers so thin.

  • Gosh u can make a smaller one but u have to have 90 sheets still

  • How long did it take you to make this?

  • @MrBobbyjoe10 Folding the pieces takes about two hrs, putting the ball together takes about 30 mins.

  • That's 35 sheets wasted messed up before I finished but I found a way to make this with less sheets!!!

  • @funfacesinger cut the squares smaller?

  • u should make this video slower i can hardly keep up and say stuff like how to glue it in.:((((((((((

  • @billzhang2000 there's a link that shows joining the pieces in pictures in the description below the vid.

  • @theWWEgreat yes,cut the paper in to 4 pieces

  • Comment removed

  • could u make a smaller 1 with post its plz reply

  • @TheHanabhatti YES U CAN

  • Just wasted 90 pieces of paper. Hey maybe I can use as valentine cards?

  • @funfacesinger that's a good idea! or birthday and Christmas cards... i always save all mine for some use and this could be it!

  • is there a smaller version that requires LESS paper

  • @TheWWEGreat A SMALLER VERSION WOULD NOT TRANSFORM.

  • @TheWWEGreat cut smaller squares... you can use scrap paper you find too, just make sure its at least as thick as printer paper otherwise the ball could be too fragile to play with.

  • wow a grate way to both wast time and paper XD

  • well most people are saying this is not origami but from what i can see the little flaps on the side will make it stay together, meaning it is origami. the glue is not to put it together, the glue is to keep it together.

  • glue+paper=NOT ORIGAMI

  • i made mine with 8 by 8 inch paper it fucking huge

  • @ILOV3J3SUS1 LOL?

  • no glueing is a scared rule of origami !!!

  • glue is prohibited in origami!!!!!

  • just like venus flytraps

  • gooood i got it all correct

    thanx a lot

  • Took me 15 hours, but I did it!

I used 3" paper squares. This tutorial is very good, better than some of the same tuts here on Youtube. Keep up the good work!

  • they shuld call it unigami since it involves units thumbs up if u agree

  • when i saw the number 90 i changed the video 0:16 - 0:24

  • where can i get all of this paper?? lol is this like cardstock paper or just regular paper cut into pieces?

  • @milarox1999 Its made from colored printer paper cut down.

  • @sinnersgrin or you could just use sticky notes but of course it would be harder

  • @milarox1999 @milarox1999 You can buy 3 X 3 sized paper at local craft stores such as Michael's or online on Amazon. They come with 300 sheets or so

  • @milarox1999 I got mine from Hobby Lobby

  • is this considered easy, intermediate, or hard?

  • @milarox1999 Easy! All the same units- and your using glue.

  • when i made half, i had to use six inner star rings but i dont understand why please help me

  • @ourworldloversforev Your doing it correctly! Each of your transformer openings (made w/ blue paper in my tutorial) will be a flat side of a dodecahedron. Google the word dodecahedron to see a pic, it will give you more understanding!

  • l use fewer parts

  • da pra fazer com menos papel

  • looks easy .... How many inches this

  • @HeAdShoT005005 i used 4x4inch squares... Its slightly bigger than the average human head :p

  • hey man the glue guns best sinces fastest an strong

  • THE MOST SAID TUT

  • YOU CAN MAKE HALF OF ONE AND IT WILL BE A HAT

  • do i have to use hot glue gun cuz i dont have one?

  • @KingKJH21 -- Hot glue is the best. Glue guns are like 5 bucks @ Walmart :)

  • @sinnersgrin you dont even know what origami is!

origami is paper folding. no glue. no tape. just paper.

  • @MrMoshi100 :) I found this model in a tanteidan convention book. I think the pro's know what is and isn't origami better than either of us!

  • yay! i made one took two days only because i was lazy. i made white and then i painted it all kinds of colors. looks awesome

  • 90 pieces! Your killing trees ):

  • I have a doubt: can I occupy cold tail?

  • 90 PIECES TO A NOT-ORIGAMI? ORIGAMI DOESN'T USE GLUE. DÃÃÃ!

  • it took me an hour to make the whole thing

  • its called the morning glory

  • i just got lost.

  • Uma pena que você pensa asssim.

  • I messed up. Now I have to make 30 more pieces for the inside color luckly I saved the extra unused pieces I hate amazingorigamis tutorial

  • Você faz as dobraduras muito rápido!

  • 90 pieces OMFG!

  • she said i can get one YAY but i just have to wait until we go shopping next week urggg i dont think i can wait that long lol.

  • @origamiqueen19 Sweetness. One weeks better than two and it will be here before you know it!

  • @sinnersgrin yerr i hope so :D its better to wait a week i guess than use PVA glue and have to make all of the pieces again, although it only took 2 nights to make them all (not even that maybe 1 night combining the times lol)

  • thanks for the advice i think i will try to get glue gun because i agree that making all those pieces for it to be ruined would destroy me lol as it is taking ages just to make the pieces, my mum isnt that sure about me getting a glue gun because i am only 13 but im sure i can change her mind very easily ;)

  • @origamiqueen19 Glue guns aren’t that dangerous! I hope she says yes! Getting glue on your fingers hurts and may blister, but has never left a scar on my hands- and I burn them with glue a lot, it happens. Just be careful!

  • would PVA glue work or just make the paper soggy

  • @origamiqueen19 PVA glue is like Elmer’s, but claims to work better. I think it would work OK... as long as you use it sparingly and go slow. As you build the model you may have an issue with the finished work wanting to pull away as you add on because the glue has not dried yet. Hate for you to put so much time in folding the pieces in case it turns shit bc of the glue not drying quick enough. Glue guns are like 5$ at Wal-Mart.

  • Cool!! :D

  • its a fun thin to do but its harder that it looks

  • Love it! Thanks!

  • Can't see please!too fast! Is it fast forward?

  • just finished making one...note to anyone who makes one for the first time use more than one color.....u will get lost......mine looks horrid but it works

  • It was really good it's just you went to fast

  • Too fast

  • would a pritt stick work for glue ??

  • @rianfitz1998 Yes absolutely with the pit stick, you could also use mascara. Let me know how it turns out ;p

  • ok thanks anyway

  • @sinnergrin

umm... how long does it take u to do this? O.O and it is so kool!!! ^, ,^ U

  • @talkingburrito3 Maybe 30 minutes to glue after all the pieces have been folded. I usually multi task by watching a movie while folding- then take the time to glue. It doesn’t ever feel like it takes so long when you fold by movie light!

  • do we have to use 90 units?

  • can we use less units?

  • @superpotatosuace THIS BALL CANNOT BE MADE WITH LESS THAN 90PCS AND STILL TRANSFORM. THERE IS NO SMALLER VERSION!!!

  • can u use a post it note ?

  • @oscie852 YUP! maybe even toliet paper as well???

  • 2% of the people actually thought it was a transformer.

  • @bronsoncrabtree HA HA my evil plan has exceeded to such a level, I will be ruling the world in no time!!!

  • ir the a mini version?

  • @azaptap2561 Cut down your paper to the size you want...(take a square of smaller size paper and divide in half for correct proportions) But if your referring to the number of pieces it takes to make, this ball cannot be made with less than 90pcs and still transform.

  • would this work using a stapler??

  • @katrinan96 maybe... but i dont think it would work well because you cant really reach in the correct angles to staple as you can with glue.

  • your good 8D

  • this ia really hard to make and the song really creeps me out

  • This music is creepy

  • this technically isnt real origami since you are using glue

  • @Magnangel :) this is new age shit!

  • @sinnersgrin thanks imma go make it

    C ya

  • thats sick!!!

  • @sinnersgrin is sticky notes to small

  • @chanceloves I’ve made one using rectangles about that size before and it looks cool, but it doesn’t really collapse the way the bigger ones do. Maybe it would work better with sticky notes because the paper is thinner than the printer kind i used!? I remember the gluing being a little frustrating as well with the smaller pieces and the burns from the hot glue :)

  • before you cut it down how many pieces of paper do you need??

  • @ajmer809--

1 sheet (8.5X11) will make 4 big squares at least. This model takes 90 squares. 90 / 4 = 22.5 YOU WILL NEED 23 SHEETS OF PAPER FOR ENTIRE MODEL.

If making it two differnet colors as i did, Blue paper=8pcs White paper= 15pcs

    simple math skills.

  • where did you get your paper at??? i cant find any solid colored paper the sizes you suggested. help!!!

  • @ajmer809- I use colored printer paper- cut it down with a paper cutter to the size you want. Stapels and other office supplies always have a good selection of colors, cheaper than actual origami paper by far.

  • you are very noob i can see with your noobing hand front of camera

  • @99288624 and your a noob with the english language. douche.

  • @sinnersgrin You're* lol jkjk

  • thank you sooo much ! you are the only one that really explained all the steps we have to make

  • Do you have to use hot glue?

  • @MissCrafty22 no. im sure you can use any glue. Hot glue works well because of its quick drying and heavy hold, keep that in mind when choosing to use another type of glue.

  • when ever i have to put five togather one of the modules rips at the bottem for some reason...way to prevent this

  • @rs3newstart22 make sure all your creases are crisp. especially the fold the goes accross the center of each unit.

  • Do you have to use glue?

  • @iGrawrYuu yep!

  • @sinnersgrin then its not origami

  • @ziggywex not traditional origami. ya.

  • how do u do the steps from 1:38 to 2:29 ???? could u make a slower video pppllllzzzzzzz

  • 1.PAUSE VIDEO

2.HOLD DOWN LEFT ARROW FOR 3 SECONDS

3.WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE LEFT ARROW HOLD DOWN THE UP ARROW

    4. YOU ARE NOW PLAYING SNAKE

    5. SPREAD THE WORD

  • lame and stupid

  • I only have one thing to say, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was kind of fast so i think i would have been easyer to make it if it was closed

  • you cn also use stickey notes for this =)

thumbs up if you find this helpful

  • I don't know how u zips do it

  • I can't get down how to connect the pieces. Can somebody give a link to a different video of the same ball?

  • this video is too fast and confusing with how to connect them. I'm so freaking confused. I've been trying to make the first five piece and I CAN'T.

  • I can't get down how to connect the pieces. Can somebody give a link to a different video of the same ball?

  • @maubreib sent you a few links, hope they help!

  • @maubreib try the link ive posted on the description

  • try the stores that sell office supplies- they sell all sorts of colored printer paper. Stapels... Office Depot- whatever store you have in your town! The kind i buy comes in 4 shades of like colors - cost around 10bucks for 1000 sheets.

  • this might sound weird but where do you buy you blue printer paper?

heh heh i just have regular white printer paper :) i appreciate it if you would tell me :)

  • LOL :) take big paper and cut it down to the size you prefer. You can make any origami as big or as small as you want! Dont waste your time with scissors--- your squares never come out perfect like they do with a paper cutter.

  • Where do you get small paper at

  • it's cool but it uses to much paper

  • cool!

  • i cried when it said make 60 of those things.lol

  • only paper and folding and ripping is allowed in origami as the culture says

  • @pokewmonman :) yes yes. I deffinatly agree that this is not 'traditional' origami! This diagram came from a Tanteidan Convention booklet a few years back, im not sure if they have came up with new classifications for origami now or not?!

  • @pokewmonman dont 4get folding 2gether

  • glue? seriously! fakegami

  • @missingo3886 ha try making it without! and its hot glue, totally different!! :)

  • @sinnersgrin done ill upload as soon as possible

  • amazing! planning to make it.

  • lol im about half done

  • @sporeman1331 Sweet!

  • nice tutorial, i really liked it.

  • @dl2144 thx! makes it all worth the effort!

  • wow i cant beleave it i made it my hands hurt
