  • I have the same. It's horrible

  • How do I see what's real, and not only the things I imagine?

How do I make friends, and keep them from becoming lovers?

How do I learn that being used is not being compassionate?

How do I learn that death is bitter and life is sweet?

How do I get out of my head?

How do I give myself the identity of 'Me'?

    Help me. Please.

  • I already lost my sister to bpd suicide. Bpd split my entire family of origin, through murder and estrangement. Now, at 50 I finally get my diagnosis, the answer! But it's too late. I have multiple physical and mental health diagnosis. I have no way to access mental health therapies. Thanks bpd! I can't wait until I have the sheer guts my sister had when she put a stop to the suffering.

  • awesome

  • That was a very beautifully tragic and perhaps even hopeful story. :) It makes me feel hopeful as well.

  • Thanks for sharing and being brave. I am a mother, wife, and struggling.no one knows how painful my life is. Over 20 yrs seeing many therapist just diagnosed. I don't trust them that anymore, they had no clue at all. There is no hope. I wish we all could do something about all BPD people like me that have no support. BPD is more dangerous and harmful to us and people around us than any CANCER or AIDS. I wish someone teach me how to LIVE." I want to live". God Bless You. if there is one!

  • Beyond Awesome!

  • That was brilliant, Amanda. Thank you.

  • For a non-bpd your video brought tears to my eyes. It provided greater understanding of what my bpd was going through

  • This also brought tears to my eyes, because i know how she feels. I just wanna learn how to live, without thinking about death everyday and learning to love myself like Ms. Wang said. I hope more people view this video, for they will better understand those inflicted with bpd.

  • Wow. Awesome! This brought tears to my eyes!

  • Thank you for sharing your and heathers story, I can finally say there is someone out there who totally understands the life I am living. I am currently struggling with bpd and have been for 8yrs, with mis diagnosis, so many medications I cant even count anymore, and inadiquate mental health help. I have lost my job struggle with relationships and have distanced my self from everyone. thank you for hope. God bless you and Heather

  • Thank you so much, Amanda, for saying so eloquently what many of us are thinking.

  • this reminds me of Foucault's book Abnormal

  • This is one of the most brilliant presentations on borderline personality disorder. Amanda, thank you for allowing people to better understand the impact of this disorder. You show that there is much work to be done but that there is hope for recovery. We are honored to be able to work with you in your effort.

Perry D. Hoffman, Ph,D. President National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEA-BPD).
