I made my own whip specifically for swinging. It has a 3-4foot long peice of industrial rope attached to a 2-3 foot long belt. I simply stapled the rope to the belt and it wraps and dewraps perfectly fine.
It was made by a man named Paul Stenhouse who used to live in Washington state. He doesn't make whips anymore (or at least not right now) but I highly recommend Bernardo Del Carpio's whips, online at delcarpiowhips, or Joe Strain's whips online at NorthernWhipCo.
lol I sure did. That last wrap actually worked a lot better than I thought it was going to. I had wrapped the tree, unwrapped it, did the swing part with the rope, and gone back and wrapped it again and it would NOT come off! I think you can hear me mumble something like, "Why wouldn't it wrap like this before?" hahaha! Thanks for the comment!
no need to see the video of how you faked it it is a rope a normal rope because there's no handle and then pause, bullwhip, pause nothing happened or changed
i dont really belive you swung on your whip bro, why would you risk messing up your whip, plus i dont think the tip of the whip is strong enough. i think you cheated us man, haha
You're correct. I used a rope to swing on - this video was made as a joke for the people who actually believed you could swing on a whip and still have it be in usable condition afterwards. ;-)
*I* wouldn't do all the same things with a chain - especially since the chain would react differently than the bullwhip, despite the similar - albeit urban appearance. The bullwhip is also lighter and is easier to throw around and have it all go the same way. I think if I used a chain, I'd swing it more like nunchaku. I think chains are probably more unpredictable when it comes to precise work, and so they're probably not as good. Whips are accurate and quick. Chains are more brutal and slower.
And when I say chains are probably not as a good, I mean they're not as good for what I'm doing. I'm sure that chains are better suited for some things than bullwhips.
just so everyone knows dont swing using an actual leather whip unless its to save your life. if you swing on an actual whip (looks like you swung on a rope) you will streach the leather breaking a possibly $200 whip.
Hm... email the administrator and see what's up. Also, if your email is something like @hotmail or @gmail or a free one like that, you have to use a different one.
