There is an easier way to do this. Use borax or Magnesium Alum to remove fat and meat during boiling. I also use a clothes hanger to scramble all the brains out. You can use dental picks to scrape off any remaining meat after. :)

Is it necessary to take everything off the skull before boiling? What would have happened if you had put the head directly into the boiling water?
