Dallas was the heart and soul of the band anyway. I wonder if his faith and his wife's troubles had any role in his decision to leave the band. I also am curious how much input he had into the video. It depicts quite well the connection of Catholicism to pagan rituals.

I think if Dallas and his wife converted to Christianity and maybe understood the roots of their faith, they would be a lot better off spiritually. It's a difficult time for people of faith in God, regardless of which religion.

@gloryjosiah Yeah, it was an ensemble not a one man show. They had the sound they did because each member did their part. In my opinion Dallas Green was the talent of the band, though. City & Colour has a different sound, but it's the direction that Dallas wanted to take. Personally I'm a fan of the more mellow sound of City & Colour. Little Hell is a great album all the way through - not one filler song. You can tell it was something he wanted to write.

okay, i absolutely adore this type of metal. there is like no chugs on the guitar, it's experimental with the guitar, the screaming sounds really good, and of course Dallas will give you chills down you're spine. this is what real metalcore is suppose to sound like, i'm sorry but "chug chug chug *blarg blarg blarg* is not very tasteful in my opinion, they kinda of remind me of dance gavin dance, real passionate about singing, screaming, and guitar. a great mixture. damn Canada, i love you :)

@TheTony4994 The guy's vocals sound like garbage next to Dallas'. He lacks vocal talent. That's all there is to it. I'm not saying you have to be a good singer to be in a band, but really his voice is like bleu cheese in an otherwise tasty salad. It's overpowering and gross. A good vocalist will sing and throw in some screaming to show real emotion. This guy does a horrible job at portraying any kind of emotion. He just sounds like he's trying to be Earth Crisis. Sorry if that makes me retarded.
