  • Universal salvation was for me a heresy, people pleasing idea until I saw passages like this.

Romans 5:19 "for as through the disobedience of the one man,THE MANY were constituted sinners: so also through the obedience of the one, shall THE MANY be constituted righteous."

If you take the book of revelation as the end of Gods plan then of course universal salvation would not make sense; but if you look at Paul's writings and see God will be "all in ALL" then you see love Never fails.

  • the sheeps to the right and the goats to the left. enough said.

  • Billy Graham and Robert Schuller are right on. The only way to the Father is through Christ. Nothing has changed in that message! What is different than John MacArthur's view, is that Christ is not limited to our timing for salvation. If a person does not learn of Christ while alive on Earth, their soul can still be saved. Why is it some Christians believe when Christ died it was for all sins past and in the future but they don't believe salvation can come for someone after their death?

  • @gtmj45 Because it's what the bible teaches. Or do you not remember what Abraham said through Christ's parable of the rich man and Lazarus? Luke 16:19-31 if you want Christ's teaching on the fairness of hell. Or 14:15-24, or 16:1-13. Christ preached on hell more than any other preacher who ever lived.

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

    Matthew 10:28

  • @jayjaygee123 I am making an argument for Christ's dispensation of grace, not a statement about whether or not hell exists. Christ is not limited by time and space to save your/ our soul. It is the power and depth of his grace that is amazing and wonderful. Romans 11:32 says "For God has bound all men to disobedience so he can have mercy on them all". Many will never know a Christ, the church or the Bible. They will live and die on this planet without knowing and yet Christ has mercy on them.

  • Totally agree with the Pope on this one. If what you believe is all that matters, where's the purpose in that, really? So if I believe I have a greater favour of God? If my heart is in the right place and I act accordingly in my life in general to love one another but don't believe in Jesus, I go to hell? This encompasses the whole reason the Christian religion is so weak in substance, and why I would never become a Christian. I find it a very sad religion to say the least.

  • @trixxxy100 if you refuse Jesus Christ, then yes you will most certainly go to hell! God is no respector of persons. Jesus Christ is the only way and no one can come to him unless the Father draws him! John 6:44

  • @romans617 And I really care? Ahhh, no.

  • @melodicplayer

What I meant by righteous is someone who appears right before the eyes of God.

Did Abraham know the name Jesus? or did he know a Christ is coming?

    @Kingsdaughter2

I watched the clip "How do you know you are saved?" and it's how I feel our church ought to know about this truths. Thanks for sharing.

  • It's a damning message to say there is no ultimate consequence for our evils.

  • Concerning the idea that someone who "does not know Jesus, but has a contrite heart before his understanding of God" (see comment below), the scripture is plain; "There is NONE righteous, no not one. There is NONE that does good. None that seek God." Apart from knowing Jesus Christ personally, by faith no one will be saved. There is no other way of salvation than through faith in Jesus. The bible says the wrath and condemnation of God abides on those who do not believe in Jesus (Jn 3: 18; 36).

  • @melodicplayer It also says, "all men will be judged on their individual merits" does it not? Are you implying merits denote whether one believes or not? I believe the Great Wall of China is the longest wall in the world. So what!

  • This man JOHN MACARTHUR is a village idiot, he is what is commonly called "a grace killer" his wpords are shallow and he is a false preacher!

  • There was something off with John MacArthur even from the very start I heard him speak

Billy Graham's conviction of God's grace, on the other hand, has deepened and matured in his knowing of God. You who say that Jesus is Lord and at the Lord's coming are found to be in sin, and the other who did not know Jesus name but has a sincere contrite heart before his understanding of God... who do you think will be found righteous before God?

  • @akontutube who will be found righteous? Only those who have been regenerated, raised from spiritual death and sealed by God Holy Spirit - only those who have been born from above John 3:3,5 the remnant is truly a "little flock"
