When I first heard this music when I was 12, playing for the first time, I thought it was the most complex and sinister boss music arrangement I'd ever heard. That whole game seemed really hard then, but looking back, it's like a preschool RPG game compared to the complexities of the RPGs I'd later come to play.

The spear boss is the worst. I think I might even say he is the second hardest non optional boss in the game besides Smithy. You fight him and what is his first attack? A giant explosive geyser of water that does heavy damage to all members of the party. Yeah that pretty much explains how hard this boss is. If you do not use Peach you are going to be in deep trouble.

The only bosses in the game who have this theme are all members of the Smithy Gang. And they are also prototypes, in Exor you see Machine-Mades, which are the mass-produced versions of Mack, Bowyer, Yaridovich and the Axem Rangers

@xXSonicSuperSonicXx Each one has a set ammount. I think it's around 200 each, when they are taken care of you need to take out the cannon. This fight took me ages. (Take the pink out first by the way, she heals the others.)

Armed bosses r like generals for smithy this is the remix for them.

bosses like belome and croco r just like mini bosses.

In other words, Belome, Croco, Valentina and other mini bosses weren't part of Smithy's army. But theres something i never understood: the bosses with this theme are members of the smithy gang right? But what of the other bosses found in the ''weapon'' dimension (final stage)? Countdown, Director, factory chief and others, were they part of the smithy GANG?

Yes, they were Smithy gang members. However, they only had the hp of normal enemies, so they were fought as normal enemies, and not as bosses.

i think nintendo and square enix should team up again and either make a sequel or a remake of the original but with 3d graphics and it uses wii's motion ability like an example is if mario punches and u wanna do a timed action command you actually have to make a punching motion with the wii remote... Just an idea!

This remix is awesome, but it should have better quality. If you want better sound quality, instead of recording the picture with Hypercam and playing the music in the background, use WMM or the Mac thingy and open the tool up, (movie making tool) and put in the pic you drew, then put the theme in. (.WAV will not work in Windows. Only .MP3.)

"They" did not miscolour him. I made him blue simply because he'd be difficult to see on a black background. The Mario games themselves do this often - use dark blue instead of black - and underground areas and such.
