hmmm i really dont like cecils voice in the japanese version. squall's(My fave Charecter) voice is ok. i like cecils voice in english. its calm and gentle. like his traits and personality are. squalls voice in enlish fits him perfectly

If u havent watched the movie final fantasy 7 advent children the movie and understood wat was going on. after u do all of that, picture squall in that, u couldnt see squall last the whole movie and especially not fight sephiortoh. Squall is probably better in dissidia but final fantasy wize, squall would probably be a 2 times better thatn tifa but he coul.dnt handle squall or kadaj he could only stall. Cloud > squall Cloud > tidus, Cloud = Sephiroth/ kadaj
you are just pulling game favouritism here... ultimecia was more powerful than seph by game means. the final seph fight was simple as shit. nobody died. ultimecia banished magic and knocked dead characters out of the game with an attack that deals 9998 damage to all characters, and technically, squall beat that. so squall's pretty dope too, it's just a different game and universe, Cloud beat Sephiroth, Squall beat Ultimecia. Different story, and you can't say who is more powerful.
True...squall could probably put up a good fight against cloud on dissidia, but its just hard i mean if they made a ff 8 movie than u could really say stuff. but im not really positive who would win.
@Fanman541 Materia was very easy to incorporate into the film. Drawing on the other hand..... eh. Personally i'm getting tired of the whole, Suck on this Cloud fanboys. Squall fanboys are getting almost as bad. Zidane all the way for me
both cloud and squalls attacks r simaler so if u r saying one is better than the other u need to rethink that their final weapon is only differnt by the type and their final attack is about the same as well so rethink what u say about cloud and squall cause even in ff8 i used cloud as party leader

as a shinra troop you recieve training for a shinra troop, clouds body was unable to take the intense training of soldier, so they didnt let him, when hojo infused him with jenova cells, he also infused him with pure cells from sephiroth, he is just as strong as zack by the time it ended, BUT he still wasnt trained as a soldier, or in the movie rufus wouldnt say "you fight like the soldier you once claimed to be" he wouldnt have used the word claimed if cloud became one.
No, Rc, that's a major misunderstanding. A big part of the story is the fact that Cloud never WAS in SOLDIER. Those were delusions, he essentially took on Zack's (sp?) memories, which I believe was a result of the Mako.
And to the other thing where they said Squall was just trained as a student... you also need to consider that essentially Squall was growing a GF inside him. That's pretty intense.
I am wondering how many costumes characters have in this game. I count three for squall (SeeD, Ball, and normal) and two for cecil (Dark Knight, and Paladin).

it's understandable how there's a 7 movie and not an 8 movie. 7 revolutionized RPGs. 8 drew on what they learned in 7 and changed it a bit.

see the only difference between them, is that cloud was bathed, for about two years, in mako, and squall was just... trained in school :3
